Today haz been one of those days where I will b glad when the sun sets...and I can (hopefully) visit with my hosts and enjoy a Start the Weekend Netflix movie...no splinters...no cats freaking out .. nothing that involves more rubbing alcohol and bandages...

Anyone figured out yet why they named this thing Horse Creek? (hint, look carefully at the banks - if the critters were present when I took these two pix, you'd get it right away)

9/25 - 6: TIOA sns 2 eps 12: The two groups moved side by side for a while, but as the search continued the groups began to separate. As the sun got higher and the toll on the people who were already tired, some started back. It was getting down to smaller groups, until the rule was reached. Teams of two. The day was hard, as well as the scratches and bruises going through the brush. "I am heading back, here take my water" said tiggs. Road was determined to find Angel and knew how to be safe and stealthy. Onward Road went.....

DNC: TIOA sns 2 eps 13: The night was coming on and Road continued on. Fighting the brush and weeds, scratches everywhere. Opening up a passage through the tangles Road saw.... and then blackness. Back at the village the treefam were tired but yet worried. GMO gave out juice to calm nerves, but it was not working like before.

Elsewhere: Road was being lead somewhere, eyes covered by a cloth. Pushed by someone, or many there were no voices... The senses of Road were still there, I am moving in this direction or that.... Dirt, water, a boat; moving through the water, up and then down, stale smells. Forced down and made immobile, Road could hear a similar voice crying and whimpering.

Did you fall into something that I missed? I'd love to help you out, but out of what?

Horses graze and drink from it?

Under normal conditions, there are always horses seen walking up and down the paths that you can see on the banks in both pictures, and trails going down to the water (presumably to get a drink). This was the only time I have ever seen this creek when there were no horses, either on the banks or standing in the water. And no one seems to own them.

Well, the day is ending once again. The sun is down and all our critters (except Jasper - he has night guard duty) are in bed. Well, Tigger and Twinkie also just left the building, presumably to harvest another dozen rodents during the night. But otherwise, it is bedtime, so I'm getting close to wrapping this up and hitting the sack. Good night dear TreeFam.

Went for a bicycle ride earlier - did 12.7 km - pushed hard a couple times but stayed off the bigger hills. Feeling a bit wore out but ok.
