Riggs I love you story,,,, please keep it it going
...

Having a lot of excruciating pain In my lower back and cannot get in a position that makes it stop hurting, I took the max pills I can take as prescribed by my doctor and they just don't even work a little, almost two more mont to see the pIn dr to discuss pain pills and ft my next epidural... That will be in my neck so I an at a loss for what to do about my back... I guess I will need to increase my pained a,,,,
My acupuncturist also is a chiropractor and does lazer so if we can afford it I will see about those,

It actually hit me today that all this pain and issues I have been going through is almost exactly what my mom went through. What is scary is all they were able to do was keep her drugged up on narcotics

Guess I've grown up cause when I was in my early 20s I thought how great it was she was getting all those narcotics, now I am At that point and wish they could do something so I would no need any of them.

This rainy humid weather is doing me in.

What keeps me going is being on here seeing I'm not alone. And so many here going through the Sam or worse...

Best example is GMO. He is so important positive and helpful. It is so awesome to see others in my boat and dull k

Just poppin in to say g'night/morn Tree Fam.
You know, I realized tonight that I might be feelin the effects of higher altitude than I'm used to....My friend just mentioned tonight that we are about 1500 feet higher here than I am back home. Now that might not seem like much, but I know I am sensitive to elevation changes...When I first moved here, I was warned it might take me a few weeks for my body to adjust to the higher elevation ...4300 feet. Then I remembered how I got altitude sickness (acute mountain sickness ...(AMS) is what they call it now) climbing Mt Fuji, @mac63  ...man those little kids and lil old Japanese grannies were leavin me in the dust!
Wishing everyone a peaceful night.
Sending you prayers for relief and a healing breakthru @Slowone2 . I am sorry you are in pain:( and hope you can get some restful, healing sleep.
:tumble:

Katz - I haven't spent much time on the mainland. A week around Iwakuni a long time ago and a few days around Kyoto and Osaka. With my knees now I wouldn't even think about doing a Fuji climb.

Slow - the regular acupuncture may not have worked but you might want to look into the version where they hook a couple needles up to electric while they're in. Regular way was good for my knee before I tore it up bad and needed surgery - the electric wasn't so good for me. But different strokes - might work for you. I had the stick on electric pads after the knee surgery and those helped.

I turned 21 the week I was in Iwakuni - we'll just say it was more than a few years ago.
A year ago I was doing 15km on the bike and that was with lots of hills then I didn't do any for awhile. Been trying to work back up but with only getting out on it once a week it's taking some time.
