Thought I'd give you folks a laugh before I go to bed. No, not a nekkid picture of me...
A new picture of Chicklet, that solitary abandoned baby chick we saved a couple weeks ago (and who is growing like a weed). She has decided we cannot leave her in her cage while we go watch a movie after coming in from evening chores. She insists we bring her out in the living room, so I tried it. She has decided the best place to watch TV is while sitting (roosting) or standing (as in this picture) on my shoulder. She spent the whole hour right in that spot, not moving around (much), not fussing, gently peeping in my ear (I think she was discussing the plot points of Battleship). (I look a little dopey, but that's from the flash in my eyes)
OK, that's enough of that. Sun is gone and my eyes want to be shut now, so I bid thee farewell for another night.

Had to go north to the BILs place to do some things - took way longer than I wanted.
Another bad thing about having to leave here - if I was staying, I would probably have a small boat for fishing. Can't see trying to keep it around for whenever I can make it back here as it probably wouldn't get used and would end up in too rough of shape to be any good.

Fuzzy - that's funny stuff with the bird.
About the only thing I can remember from my earlier reading is Count's meeting with the college kid - seems like you were nicer to him than I would have been.

Sitting here watching the local news telling me all about the bad weather that's going on in the state. I hate that it's happening but grateful that I haven't had any. At least I'm well rested..bed at 9, up at 6. 9 hours of sleep will do that to you! Lol
@Fuzzy Thunderbear, maybe chicklet is really a parrot and not a chicken! I think it's adorable that she's adopted you and Lannie as parents.

Had to leave this morning without much prep time so I just grabbed set ups and went. Took 5 - used all - ran 1 empty and another now needs a full recharge - never leave home without backups.
