The reporters stated that the only way that this would not happen it to take the guns from all people.

And Obummer has already stated, publicly, because of the Oregon shooting, guns control should be politicized. No, it should be logicized (if we can invented that word). There are already over 20,000 guns laws on the books in this country. How about we enforce what is already there instead of making new ones? If ALL guns are outlawed, will the bad guys still be able to get guns? Of course. I was offered one in Soho (London) in 1969 (a .38 special with six rounds of ammunition) and all handguns, except those kept at shooting clubs, were already illegal in England. I am real sorry for the people who get shot (and their families) by maniacs, but no new gun laws or gun banning will fix that. And nothing will stop the bad guys from getting guns if they want them -- and if you can't have one, I guarantee, THEY will.

Don't bother with 9mm or .38 specials because that would only piss them off.

...yep ...you can always use a dog as an early warning alert....send out the dog, and it'll be SURE to bring the bear right staright back to you.. ....I hated when folks would tie their dogs out...bears prob call them "snacks-on-a-rope"
My ranch friends (with no electric) had just slaughtered a goat...had pieces n parts in a big 48qrt cooler just outside the house (I know... right??!!) ....next day...cooler was gone...found it about a half mile from the house...BIG teeth marks in it! Goat was gone of course. I stayed out on a weekend once, my friend wanted to pop him..but there was no goat for bait and smart bear never showed.

I took this pic the next morning after the Bear Visitation...That's my boot print to the right and it's about 13-14' long.
An old trapper I know thinks it could have been maybe a 3yr old..young bear.

I just signed my hopes and dreams away..Chapter 13..for the next 5 years. My dream was to be able to retire in 3. Not now! I do have to live somewhere. But, it's all good! At least I don't have to surrender 3 dogs and 3 cats to animal control to be euthanized and I still have a home to come home to.

That's a rough place to be. You are amazing looking at the positives of the situation {{hugs}}

Thanks Anjel! I love my dogs and cats so I couldn't bear the thought of surrendering them. And I've been in this house for 24 years so I couldn't bear to give it up either.

Got vapemail. A Geyscano 50 W Squonker with a Hobo v3 BF atty. I built it to .5 (after I installed the door) and have been vaping on it since... I kinda like it... the Hobo 3 has a 2 hole velocity style deck. Easy to build...

This will be my last post , maybe for the weekend . I've decided to borrow a page from @bellastarr and take a weekend hiatus from the forum/internet so I can devote my time to another long over do project...maybe 2 .
So I bid you all goodnight...be kind to one another...and if you can't be kind...well then put yourself in their shoes and see what you sound like

Couldn't like "Your" post even to acknowledge that I read it . . . However, I did not only read it - but also the others you posted too . . . AND - While I am glad to read that "You" are trying to look at this situation as positively as you can, the one thing that I would like to suggest is that those hopes and dreams have not been signed away - they are only put off for a little while longer . . . Just Sayin' . . .

@CountBoredom - THANKS ! ! ! For the Information - I will be checking it out . . .

Uncle, years ago, Microsoft became very protective of communications with Outlook (probably because of security). Likewise, Android phones are made specifically to integrate with Google services and do not do any outside operations of their own.

SO True - So True . . . However, MS did/does have a sync program that used to work with a number of phones, including the Treo 750 which I had for over 8 years . . . AND - With my last phone - Samsung Galaxy III there was Samsung Kies program that was able to sync with the PC to exchange and/or update information/files . . . The funny thing is, usually a number of the phone makers (Motorola/HTC/etc) normally have their own program that will allow syncing their phones with MS Outlook program as LG does, but I am having trouble with it . . .

Also, I should note, by choosing not to link your phone with a Google account, you will be limiting yourself to what you can and cannot do on the phone.

AH - That is so true and I do have a Google account link to the phone to get what I needed and so it wasn't limited - both with the Samsung phone and now the LG . . . I just want to make sure that certain personal information of "My" Friends is kept private for security reasons . . . Anyway, I have decided to mix it up - I have 5 Gmail accounts - so I am removing any link to the primary one from the phone and linking it up to a more dormant one as the phones primary Google account . . . So - I think this will alleviate any of the problems I was having, especially since there will no longer be any contacts listed in that Google Account.

Again - THANK "YOU" - for your help . . .

And nothing will stop the bad guys from getting guns if they want them -- and if you can't have one, I guarantee, THEY will.
