Should be a lazy day for me. Probably going to have rain off and on from the phoon that's passing way to the south - not even supposed to get breezy here.

This afternoon left me wiped. My son's team had their third loss and my daughter's team had their third win (by the end, they were almost scoring at will...)--all in 90 degree heat with 90% humidity. Came home and just sat and guzzled water for an hour before I even attempted to take a cold shower. Yeck.
I probably won't make it on again, so I'll just say it now. Good night, Treefam!

Well, interesting change in procedure tonight. Both Helen and Cricket had fairly full udders tonight, in spite of the fact that both new babies had been in the pen with them all day. Lannie didn't feel well enough to try a second milking. Kissy Cryssie was sucking milk in one end and spraying it out the other end and her belly looked full, so instead of putting the babies in their calf stall for the night, as is SOP, we left them out with the mommies and Ellie was left in the pasture alone (she'll hang out next to the pen fence all night, I'm sure). This left me nothing to do but feed and water the chickens, top off the horse trough, cow trough, and vape while watching the babies play. Gawd but they are cute!

I heard a loud pop and then the power went out for half the cabins. PG&E said it sounds like a transformer blew. So much for movie night.
I'm gunna hit the hay and hope the power is back on in the a.m.. Good Night / G'Mornin' Tree Fam!
