So, looks like the windows 10 upgrade didn't complete on the new machine. Downloaded the updates for 8.1 and doing those installs now. Didn't use to be this much of a pain to set up a new machine.

Looks like the 8.1 updates are on there (hopefully). Now it's downloading the stuff for 10 again. Failed twice yesterday before it tried installing then that didn't go thru. Guessing maybe cause 8.1 one wasn't up to speed at that point. Looks like this one is starting from scratch again so it'll be a few hours. Time to try for a nap.

Didn't make it for the nap yet. Took a look at the computer right before I was going to lay down and the downloads had finished - guess it realized it had the files from the earlier runs. Got the actual install/upgrade running now - that looks like it'll take quite a bit of time so for the third time today I'm going to try and get situated for a nap.

On a good note - looks like Windows 10 is now loaded on the new computer. Did a little tweaking on the settings - might do some more later. Need to get my anti virus loaded on it - that'll wait til tomorrow cause too tired to mess with it tonight and the wife can't use it til I say it's ok.
