Unless you end up being one of those real old timers and make it to 107 or so.

Good morning/evening/night!
The sleep gods weren't with me today. My son woke me up at 12:30am when he came in and it took me awhile to go back to sleep. Then my daughter woke me up at 3:30am when she came in. Finally decided to just get up at 4:30!

@BamaBabe4Ever, I feel for you! I've been there, done that with my right ankle twice! :(

Oh no!!! I'll bet you couldn't get home fast enough! He's fine now though right? No lasting effects from the wreck?

@Amlowe & @101airborn Welcome to the best thread on the net!

@BamaBabe4Ever hope you feel better soon! We just moved a few months ago and Wifey fell off the back of the moving truck (she had no business being there but had to make sure we were doing it right) and broke her foot so we know right where your at.

Good morning, everyone.

Welcome, @101airborn !

@BamaBabe4Ever, it is amazing how fragile that foot bone really is. Several years ago, my wife stepped on the edge of a walking path while we were at a Safari park. All she did was seem to stumble... but a day later (after she walked about a mile on it to climb to the top of the canyon to leave the park, walked around on it at home, and finally drove herself to the hospital--my wife is quite stubborn), she found that it was indeed a broken foot. Took about six weeks to heal, I think.... Did you get a boot?

How scary, I'm glad his injuries weren't worse! He sure cleaned up nicely. ;)

My wife just left for her volunteer shift at the Art and Wine Festival. This is another event that benefits the local schools. I won't be attending, unfortunately, as I have the enviable job of taking my son to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese...
