Nice article @Uncle. I note that the chicanery proceeds apace in many parts of the nation including a railroaded ordinance in Fort Collins, CO. Railroaded because they ignored the 63% in favor of designated smoking areas (after they had already lumped vaping in with smoking (&%&*$&%*^4), then banned smoking in the downtown area WITHOUT ever consulting or notifying ANY vape shops, hookah lounges, smoke stores, etc. about the proceedings. Just sent cops in to issue citations AFTER the fact.
However, in Wichita, KS, at least one commissioner has the right idea. He wants to ALLOW vaping in county owned buildings to encourage quitting, decrease health insurance, and increase productivity (no more leaving for 10 minutes every hour for a vape or smoke break). Smart. I do see a potential problem with that plan though... Imagine 30 employees in a cubicle farm, all blowing clouds... You'd never be able to make your way through the murk!
Sorry I missed a day... it was incredibly busy yesterday (more than Friday), and I was exhausted. This morning, however, I feel a bit refreshed - even wrote a new post on ye olde blogaroo:
