Not sure if the posts are supposed to start with a new number each day or a new number for each post regardless of day posted.
Can you find the egrets? There are 4, possibly 5. And lots of trees.
I hiked the Inca trail to Machu Picchu many years ago. Wonderful trip.
This trip was just to the Amazon - from Iquitos in the north and Puerto Maldonado in the south.
My hiking boots didn't completely dry out until after I got home.

1. Morning Treefam...had a busy day yesterday and then had to babysit all three grandkids last night...I was falling asleep in my chair as soon as their daddy picked them up!
Robin, I have to work tomorrow too, which is stupid because all the courts are closed and everything else...and we don't even have clients scheduled to take advantage of the day off, so seems like a waste to me!

My boss give us half days off before each major holiday. I'm happy to get paid for a full day, but I have to drive 2hrs round trip to work 3. It's just silly not to give us the whole day off, but I guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Today's another struggle to get the kids out the door... they're spending more time complaining how they don't have enough time to do the things they need to do instead of doing them.

My sister is in N.E.Ohio for a visit to see her grand kids and daughter this week. Today is the only day I'm off work so we could get together, we're going to lunch together, ,,,,,,, I wish I got to see her and my mom more, Mom didn't make the trip from Texas so I'll just have to enjoy my big sis!

Another out-of-state visitor (from a different forum) posing in front of the Love Acres sign. She wanted to meet the forum's Queen Cow she'd heard so much about, so when her family came to visit Mt. Rushmore, she left her husband and children at a park in Rapid City and drove the 105 miles out here to spend a couple hours with Lannie and our critters. Go figure...
There are five plainly in sight, with the possibility of the head of a sixth one (but could just be light on a vertical branch).

Well I can't really complain then...I'll get the day off before Thanksgiving, so only a 2 day work week then, and then for Christmas I'll have almost 2 weeks off! It's always real slow here at that time of year, so we just close down for it and enjoy a nice little vacation!11/10 #4

Guess it's time to get my .... outside and run some errands (get meat and grain for the critters), then back home to finish splitting and stacking. Sigh...
The cow barn while it was still relatively new looking. All those white walls and stalls I built and painted have been decorated by the cows now in brown and green splats. They think they are impressionist artists...
