too cold to get my work done outside today....good excuse to stay indoors and clean house a bit.

@Shawn Hoefer ...I detect that you kinda like wearing all those hats....how fortunate of the vape shop to have someone with your expertise AND integrity. Unfortunately , you know that customers run the gamut ..from model to insufferable ...

I just spent an hour and a half prodding my son to do his homework: 6 small sudoku puzzles that he kept stopping on and complaining that it was too hard. So much for getting work done this afternoon.

@tiggerrts ...I'm glad you were able to visit and talk with your friend. ...You needed to get out of that house for a while ...especially now.
Well Folks... This gathering acorns is taking on a fevered pitch. The more I can get done while the weather holds the better I will feel thru the rest of the long Winter.

Well, been gone all day. Overcast and cold (high temp was 35F) and things went slower than they should have, so I did not get all my "to do" list done. Oh well...
High winds blew down a power pole and the rules for our electric co-op are that the landowner gets to keep any damaged poles (that's the company's way of saying they don't want to pay to have them hauled off), so I cut that one in three equal pieces and erected them in an attempt to build a storage shed up against the shop to keep all my firewood. Well, as you see above, the weather got here before I even got much of a start and, in analyzing the drift patterns, decided it was easier to just put the wood in the garage than put full siding on this outside shed idea. Oh well...

Gee, Uncle, I haven't been to the "mad house" because I don't know where it is - can't find a link anywhere. Oh well... I suppose that means I'm not supposed to go there...
Before I got that antique Bobcat, the snow blower was the only way to make a path out of the house... this was an attempt to make a path to the barns through the least difficult drifts.
