Good morning treefam.
Had my injections in my neck yesterday. They did absolutely no good. Next appointment is at the end of January. NOT nice. Was unable to take the drug test so no more pain meds at least till next appointment, not really a big deal cause they were of little to no help.

Me as well roadtrip. Wifey leaves in an hour for Russia and gets back the night before. Cannot wait to have that big turkey dinner with her.

westhc, we have several Coopers Hawks that live in our neighborhood. Three blocks away, several of the peregrine falcons that roost along the coastal cliffs come to supplement their diet in the canyon next to a soccer field (hanging out in the trees or sitting on fences). Last, there is a pair of larger raptors (hawk, eagle?) that hunt in the canyon below my house.

I'm sure it will be fine. She is a little nervous due to the planes that crashed recently but flying is still safer then most things you do.
I'm pretty upset at the nurse yesterday. I drank two cups of coffee and a big cup of orange soda before I left for the Drs. Then I drank five bottles of water and a soda at the Drs. I knew I would have the test so it was no big deal, except I have that problem where I cannot go on demand. Tried to talk her into doing a blood test or any other test but she refused. Two hours at the Drs trying and another hour and a half at home before I was able to go. Lost a lot of faith and respect for that office.

We have a large contingent of red tail hawks in the neighborhood. They particularly like to perch on the streetlight overhangs next to an open area and watch for possible prey. I enjoy watching from my deck at them cruising the thermals looking for a tidbit.
The hawk previously posted was from my trip to the Amazon.

Even if you acquire a "tool" to make the work easier, Mother Nature still manages to provide more work than you really want to do.
