Managed to sneak in one more before my conscience demands I go outside. (Hey, did the text here just get smaller or is my computer acting up?)
Just because one appears to be enclosed while operating one of these antiques does not mean that whole bucket of snow can't come through the grated cab and cover you (yes, it happened). Sigh... live and learn.

I should be busy today.....I have so much stuff to put away and pull out....it means bins to pull down and go through....and others to fill and stack up....it's fun to do when I'm not so tired.....it might just be because I slept in again that I'm tired...I don't know....but I should be around off and on today....

Well...I finally slept well last night...so I am feelin GOoooooooooooooood!

Time to get some blood flowing and get up and DO something else ...something that will add the icing to a good day and make me feel like I accomplished something

Well...I finally slept well last night...so I am feelin GOoooooooooooooood!
"cept my .... is starting to go numb from sitting....
Time to get some blood flowing and get up and DO something else ...something that will add the icing to a good day and make me feel like I accomplished something

Lannie asked me to pause in the outside chores long enough to come in and make some labels for her latest batch of creams, so I am sneaking on here to see what's going on. Then, after printing her labels, it's back outside.
Clearing the east side of the horse pasture. Believe it or not, on the right side of this picture is a five-foot high field fence. Can't see it? Neither could the horses, and when I saw their tracks going over the top of it, I decided it was time to create a canyon along that fence. That "brush" on the left (where Kiara, one of Pyrs, is watching me) is actually the top of a Wild Plum tree.

Back from errands... I have about an hour before I have to get ready for my daughter's last soccer practice.

I helped my Mom out with her drops...It was a grueling schedule. But she was a trooper thru it all. After her first eye got done, they put in one clear non-prescription lense in her glasses for her "fixed" eye...she said that took some getting used to! And of course I drove her everywhere during that time so no worries there!
After the second eye got done, after a few weeks ...she got a new pair of bi-focals ..clear non-pre-scription for her "fixed" 20/20 vision
..and readers on the bottom....It was making her cuckoo to have to keep putting on and taking off readers ...and she likes to do jigsaw puzzles!
When asked ...What was the WORST part of her cataract surgery ...Was it the drops??? She said "No. It was having to have my daughter drive me everywhere (it's the freedom! )
Mom was forever prompting me...."It's 35mph, not 25!" ..."It's 25mph here..not 35."
I'd say she could see pretty darn good with that one bad eye!!

Katz,I love, love, love this picture!! Whenever I'm feeling down a cardinal always manages to show up in my sight. I think of it as one of my loved ones is coming back to tell me things will be ok. More often than not, a day or 2 after the cardinal sighting things do improve.
11/12 - 3: Finally home and the boss is getting ever cheaper. Getting big spools of wire in bulk instead of rolls that weigh much more on this older back, and instead of drilling out holes at waist height; he is doing it just above the boxes so you have to bend over to pull wire. Ridiculous.

Science can now make you a 3D copy of your vertebrae ...so if you get a copy made when you are young and spry ...then when you are older and your vertebrae are shot and crumbling, rubbing together and pinching nerves....Then one day they can just pop in a brand new spine that fits you perfectly
BUT ...it is too late for your spine or mine to be "young" again ..so we must take good care to make it last.
Although wheelchair races sound fun, I preferr to walk on my own 2 legs if given a choice
