The other pic has the macaw sitting at the top of the tree as well. But on a phone??????

Good morning, everyone. I was woken up at 5:30 this morning by someone's car alarm--not the alarm itself, just the beep-beep when they set it. They have one of those higher-pitched ones and it must be set to max volume. Was able to go back to sleep but ended up with a weird dream...

I know several of the TreeFam are vets, but I want to say "thank you for caring."

Well, I am on here very early today. We didn't milk the cows this morning (so the calves get it all) because Wifey has a dentist appointment and I have to drive her to town (75 miles to the nearest dentist), so we'll be gone most of the day. While she is in the torture chair, I'll go to the local hardware store to get a new wheel for one of our wheelbarrows. With luck, we might be home right at sunset and immediately have to do the evening chores, so likely I won't be back here until later tonight. I hope everyone has a great day today. Later...

Given the height of the pine trees here, we guesstimated that snow drift to be about 12 feet at the point I am standing. I sure would like to never have another winter like that one.

Heading out soon to get some injections in my neck. Could not be at a better time cause it started hurting last night and today I cannot turn my head more than an inch without excruciating pain. Pills won't even touch it.

I hope your appointment helps, Slow. I occasionally have neck and shoulder pain due to some past injuries and I have an inkling of what you must be going through. Fingers crossed!

Figure I have time to slip another one in here before we have to leave for the day.

Sometimes you have to blow the snow while it is still blizzarding or you won't even find the barn later when it's time to feed the critters.

2. No boss today at the office, but the daughter is here doing a photo shoot. Having to listen to a crying baby is not my idea of a peaceful day!

Well it is 40* out and the sun is shining...high today of 45*.

See cats think we are sorta dumb....Up in Alaska, I had one cat who would literally sit and stare at the door with his back to me ...figuring I might "eventually" "get the hint" ...since humans seem to be not as bright as cats
When that didn't work, he enlisted another cat to come sit with him and stare at the door ..course that didn't work either . I tried to tell them it was minus 40 out there and NO, they could NOT go out ...but since I did not move towards the doorknob when I spoke, I reckon all they heard was "BLAH! Blah blah BLAH blah blah!!"

I did not sleep well last night so I'm hoping to get in a nap after I post. My sleep monitor said I had mostly light sleep last night , with 2 short periods of deep sleep...but surprisingly NO REM sleep. 'Splains why I feel so tired.

Remembering all of my veterans, ALL of our veterans, and all of OUR veterans today.
