I re-read the rules and don't understand why I don't qualify for the contest. Maybe I'm not seeing it. I have ADD so hinting around about something doesn't really help unless you just plain tell me.

@Anthony-Usa_OH - All dated and numbered posts with "substance" qualify. Adding a picture qualifies poster for an extra bottle of juice. Substance = words that accompany the dates, numbers and pictures.

Uncle is the helper here and was merely offering a friendly reminder to all new comers. You're fine.

More specifically, the 1st at 10:44 PM (with Parents picture ) & 3rd post at 10:56 - even though a couple of minutes short of the 15 min interval will count . . . the 2nd post at 10:53 PM will not count . . . So - right now "You" do qualify for those post and the other posted today . . .

Now as a FYI, especially since "You" are new to the contest - I am not trying to be a meany, but in reality I am the "Contest Helper" here and I am just trying to make sure people follow the that "Glassmanoak" ("GMO") our host has setup. Normally - I do not have to step in to mention anything to any who comes to enjoy the FUN here, since the "Tree-Peeps" always watch out for each other and let those who are new here what's what . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Now, although it is spelled out in the very well in the first post - here is what "You" and anyone else NEEDS to know for a post to qualify . . .

1) 1 - 6 Dated & Numbered post allowed per day for contest, if you want to post more that's alright, but only the 6 numbered dated post will count towards contest entries . . .

2) "You" can post after someone else, but if no one has posted in the allowed 15 minutes time - then and only then - "You" can post again . . .

3) All contest post must contain "SUBSTANCE" . . . Meaning Ya' can post anything that Ya' want to say to "GMO" or the rest of the "Tree-Peeps" as long as it is appropriate and follows ECF TOS and the Contest . . .​

That's it those are the main that "Everyone" must follow . . .

Now as for anything else being posted, well there is an added bonus of an extra bottle of The vape Tree Premium "e-liquid" if "Your" post has a picture of a - TREE ! ! !

Last, but not the least - HAVE FUN ! ! !




BTW: I am not a typist and usually do not take the time like this to write out what is already posted (this has taken "Me" over an hour to type up ) - So Please be mindful of what has already been posted, especially any announcements that come up every now & then . . . THANKS ! ! !

Yeah I seem to see uncle all over ECF hes a ECF ninja and does a really good job. I just felt like I was doing something wrong. I didn't mean to sound standoffish in the least. I was just saying if I am messing up you could just tell me.

Thanks for taking the time, your words are really thought out and elaborate. I feel a good vibe in here and really enjoy it here. I don't always understand things the first time I read them, and sometimes not the second. I do try my best to understand what is written but sometimes come up short of the full meaning of the words without understanding. Thank you so much.

Absolutely - No Problem . . . Matter of fact, I have to re-read a lot of "Stuff" myself, especially given "My" Dyslexia and problems with grammar & spelling . . . That's why it takes me so long to write "Stuff" up and then after rereading what I wrote I still have to go back and edit the original post again, so it's not great to reply to one of "My" post right away . . .

Anyway - "We're" GOOD . . .

Please try not to take @Uncle too personally .....he has this charming gift of making us all feel like we are getting spanked sometimes when all he is doing is trying to impart some info or opinion to the masses
...and he is quite opinionated ...but that's the beauty of this thread ....we have some freedom to express how we feel ... and support one another ...it's more like "family" ..in the way you WISH your family had been if you came from a less than optimal like many of us . BTW ...@Uncle is also very adept at smiley gif's to express himself.

@rangerrobin ....now I hope you know I meant no malice to yer puuddy cat .... I always feel so bad when I static shock mine, but it happens alot . And I am sorry to hear about yer doubled work load ...I was told at the VA that the records office had cut their staff in half ...and all services would be delayed....I get the whole efficiency, mean and lean concept ...but humans are not machines. And should NOT be treated as such (run them hard till they break) ... It is just wrong on so many levels ...and I feel for all of us who are caught in the hamster wheel.

@jpf880 Did I ever tell ya the story about my Army Boot Camp? One day I got fetched into the Drill Sargent's office ...I was mortified ...What had I done now?? With that poker face of his, in his gruff manner ..he only said 3 words..."Write your Mother!" She had not heard from me since my arrival several weeks earlier...and hunted me down in Anniston Alabama .... Such is Family I am glad to hear youy are doing what you need to do .... I have been feeling mighty overwhelmed here lately with Life, too ... so I pull back ...attend to the essentials ... and try to take care of business .... Still...it is good to know that I always have a branch here waiting for me .... Prayers and good thoughts going out to both you and the Missus .

I put up just a few posts today, snuggled under my blanket to listen to the rain and promptly went back to sleep!! Granted I had been up for several hours when I fell back out but sheesh it was like flipping a switch! One minute listening to the rain the next it was 11:15 am LMAO guess my night was more restless than I thought!!

I feel a good vibe in here and really enjoy it here.

FYI Tree Fam - My work load is goin' to double startin' in January. I know I've said it before, but I really need to hunker down and focus on work. I'd miss you all too much to completely give up this thread, so I'll still post, just not as frequently and without dates and #'s.

Good morning TreeFam! Well, after yesterday's snowy BS and all that snow clearing work I did, the sky is now mostly clear and the sun is beating down upon us and the temperature just got UP to freezing (actually a misuse of the word because 32 *F is actually defined as "the temperature that ice starts to melt," not the temperature that water freezes, which can vary by many degrees depending on the pollutant type and quantity, etc., etc. - and all natural water has some pollutants). Anyway, we are already having some sublimation outside and the paths I made yesterday are starting to show some grass. Hopefully, this "above freezing" stuff (as the high temp of the day anyway) will continue for a few days.
