I keep telling you to send it here.............but I suppose you should enjoy it while it's there.....besides I need to go shopping next week for the monthly groceries...so I don't want it till after that...........but I will say I sure do enjoy seeing it..
I'm trying to get you some snow by Kissmas, sweetie. In the mean time, imagine yourself playing in this picture:

It seems to me that the very fact that we now have to know what to do in the event of a shooting means that we have lost part of the war against those who wish to instill fear in the general population. Not that it isn't important to know--just sorrow for the passing of yet another element of once-carefree times.
That's it exactly..........I am very sorry for the loss of something that was precious to me.....like a thief in the night who stole something valuable .......I want my carefree days back....I didn't get to enjoy them long enough............

Thank you Fuzzy.....I have been playing in that picture.....I built a snowman behind that tree......with a circle of stones around him to mark it well......

We were just talking about this a few days ago (BEFORE San Bernadino)... when I was a kid, we never locked our house or our car. You could leave your wallet on the table at a restaurant while you went to put a dime in the jukebox and no one would take it (hell, today, I doubt anyone even knows what a jukebox was). We didn't have to know how to defend ourselves against terrorists because there weren't any (at least not in this country). This is why I live way out in the country.
Thank you Fuzzy.....I have been playing in that picture.....I built a snowman behind that tree......with a circle of stones around him to mark it well...
Good imagination. Keep it up. (a tiny Stonehenge?) Now, if you'll focus that imagination to actually "see" snow falling just outside your window...

Yes something like that with the quarters(watch towers, directions) all in the correct places....
I have so been doing that visualization for a month now......but for some reason the universe doesn't want to cooperate with me on that one....I am especially good with candle magick and I even tried that last week and still all we got was fog.....today it is rain and warmer temperatures.......but maybe in the near future.....especially for the Solstice would be great......
With that I think I am headed off to get somethings done.....have a great day everyone....I will check back in later on....

--just sorrow for the passing of yet another element of once-carefree times.
...yes...I call that "The End of Innocence" ...(I feel a song coming on!! )
...when we would roam the neighborhood at all hours without thought that someone might try to snatch us ..even though that was going on in other parts of the state...even in the '60's.
Or credit card /identity theft .... credit cards?? ....What are THOSE when you were born in the '50's ...but you still had home break ins ...I know we did...and the sense of violation...the loss of security that I felt afterwards.
And car accidents ....I'll never get that back after I was in one and injured.
..or Fires ...
The Times they are a changin' all around us .... some would say, adapt and survive or be part of something to make the World a better place. Each of us makes many choices every day ...that may seem small and insignificant on the surface ... but our actions (or inactions) all are a part of something bigger ..something snowballing ...We do not move thru this World without affecting the Lives of others...by our actions, our words ...and ,yes, even our inactions.
Just my thoughts on that ...if we could see ...like on a movie screen..how our words and actions affect others ...and how they then go on ...almost like electricity ...or a domino falling ...to continue on ....you would be amazed .
When we think we don't make a difference ... I recall a couple single mothers I know ...telling me how their children love to make a big mess making pancakes on a Saturday morning ...that it's kind of a fav tradition now :) ...It was something I did with them when THEY were kids ...and I was shocked to find how much that meant to them ....

Never has done me any good. Since the shots only tray for a few strains I always seem to get a different strain and get sick anyway. Good luck.

I have so been doing that visualization for a month now...
The key is you have to believe what you imagine/visualize. One grain of black sand (doubt) means the beach is not white.
I hate shots, but I hate bein' sick more.
The last time I had a flu shot was 1967. The last time I caught the flu was 1967. The shots are AMA and Big Pharma BS. Improve your immune system and you'll never need another shot of anything.

This one is for Tiffani: While it has been proven that the old adage about it taking more muscles to frown than to smile is false, it has also been proven that the muscle structure in the face is such that it requires less energy to use the smile muscles, so save some calories by smiling. Put on a happy face.

...I may be working against you there @liblue1 o_O...not intentionally mind you...I have things to do....that depend on warmer temps here ...I only need about a weeks worth with nighttime temps above freezing ....
Did I ever tell you about the time I was doing wood crafting? I got a commission to do an original snowman with a snow shovel ...saying "Think Snow!" It was for a Snowmachine Sales shop ...I ended up delivering that work in a blinding snowstorm on a back country road  ...so much for too much thinking and focusing ...I'm sorry ...Katz has work to finish up  Maybe if you could ease up a bit, I could get those nighttime temps to get above freezing ;) ..then you can have all the snow you can handle ...with my blessing :D

I worked around all manner of illness in younger days ...and did not get sick ....I mostly get my shots now to protect my Mom and others with compromised immune systems ...if it works, it works ...you know what to do with situations over which you have no control ...pray...do....let it go.

...:) ....and yet ..as isolated as you are ...you are NOT ....your words...your thoughts ...and what are material things but thought into action ....reach out and touch us all ...if we are open to them . We are but pack animals ..we need our herd ...our humanness ...our support system. In short ...we can remove ourselves from humanity ...but we still have a need to be part of it ...on our own terms of course.:2c:
:tumble:
..oh yes...I have work to do ....tonight ..hoping for temps above freezing :thumb:

Not to rain on the happy parade, but are you saying that I can lose weight by frowning? That means my kids must be burning the calories right outta me!

But of course, mon ami. The sad part comes when frowning only burns a couple calories but you eat a couple thousand (more than the maintenance level) when you're in that bad mood. :(

So, what did ya win @liblue1 ? (my, aren't we a snoopy bunch?)
