Thanks Everyone! Wifey still isn't doing to well, maybe a bit better than yesterday. The ammonia level in her blood was up to 117, that's very bad, in a normal person a level of 70 is considered critical, a normal reading is 7 to 35. Anytime before it's gotten over 100 she's been admitted to the hospital. I'm not sure why the didn't admit her this time.
Please keep the Prayers and Good Vibes coming.
I will start by seeing her ammonia level below 35 ...and anything associated with it within normal levels ....I'm a bit of a technician at heart ...and I think knowing the specifications will help :nun:

]@DaleH1985 ...that feelin punk is going around ...not sick enuf to call off, not well enough to work..... Eat healthy , sleep healthy ...hydrate ...hope you feel better soon :nun:

...oh my ...ECF or my browser is playing trix on me ....

Just got back from the Dads & Donuts event at the school. Despite its popularity, I see the event being cancelled in the near future. Last year, they moved the event from the auditorium (easy monitoring) to the lunch arbor (open access) and were dismayed to discover that when a new box of doughnuts was placed on a table, a swarm of kids would descend--with the end result of some kids getting 10 or 12 and some parents getting none (I was lucky to get one last year). To combat this, they attempted to enforce a 1-doughnut apiece strategy, with kids getting their hands stamped and adults going by the honor system. This resulted in some kids using the bathroom to wash their hands (and remove the hand stamp) and fewer adults staying around and socializing. It also resulted in at least 5 boxes of doughnuts going untouched--a situation greeted by surprise by the organizers.

The event also came under fire, as some people complained that the event was only for dads (which, while often predominantly attended by men, is not necessarily true, as moms who show up are never turned away). Some complained that there is no "Moms and Mimosas" event--despite the fact that there are Mother's Day events (either by the school as a whole--such as Moms and Muffins--or by each class) and Father's Day falls after the end of the school year. So maybe it should be called "Donuts with parents who are often not considered to be the primary care-giver or who are generally too lazy to drop their kid off at school and force another to do so." Sigh.

She wore an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow.... Oh wait... wrong song. How about: It's beginning to look a lot like KissMoose... wait, that's not quite right either... My request for warmer weather was terminated yesterday and I really didn't expect winter to show up immediately upon me cancelling the request, but this morning I woke up to 26 *F and super tiny (itsy bitsy) snow pellets falling in the darkness, so when first light happened, a good share of the ground showed a very thin whiteness. I guess, for a while anyway, I'm just gonna leave the weather to Mother Nature, who, apparently, has decided to send us another Canadian blue tongue (arctic air mass). I'd guess that sometime in the next few days, REAL snow will be falling here again. Oh well...

GOOD MORNING TREE FAM !!!

@CountBoredom ...so what should have been a bonding/greet n meet experience for the Dads turned out to be a Battle for the Donut ... Well...sounds like alot of learning experiences for evryone ...and yeah ...always funny when the organizers are totally flummoxed at the outcomes of their efforts! Maybe taking some written in anonymous suggestions fromthe parents would be in order ...just sayin
.... @Fuzzy Thunderbear ...could be that "delayed action" effect  ...but yeah ...Mother Nature has her own agenda :p
:tumble:

The sad thing is that the organizers ARE parents. That is why they are so greatly concerned about criticism...

Don't really want to go do work today - rather dreary outside - but there doesn't seem to be anything really exciting going on here at the 'puter either, so I guess I'm gonna have to get off my buns now. Later...

Uncle and Everyone else in this thread are in mine every nite.

G'Nite Uncle!
Healing energy has been sent....since the first post.....stay calm and don't forget to breath......

It can be difficult, however depending on who it is I usually just sound off by saying to them . . . "So What's Your Point ? ? ? Does it really look like I care" . . . They sometimes get so dumb founded - they finally shut up & walk away - and if they don't I do . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
That's one of my favorite lines....."so what is your point".....I am usually a bottom line person....if it's something I care about then I have my own opinions..and if I want yours then I will ask for it...............LOL....but some people never get that....

Seems I am still at the computer. Wifey just discovered the joys of a cheap K-box and thinks we should invest in some "back ups," so I'm searching for the best prices. Might be in and out for awhile... :)
That was always my biggest fear about vaping....not having one that worked.....especially with the winter....power failures and all of that......so that's why I went with the puck mod....I don't fear that any more.....I even picked up a power pack to charge my iStick in case..........
