Woohoo we broke a 100 year old record today. Hit 82 in Norfolk, and my phone says 81 for the beach. Cannot believe this weather.

Is it really Christmas eve?
Got my tires pumped up. Hopefully they'll last through the drive.
It seems my puppy thinks 5OF is too cold for her to do her business outside.

Well it's like 65 here so not Christmas weather its a bit crazy.
12/24 - 2: Finally home and let the 3.5 -5.5 day weekend begin. Already saw frozen moisture falling from the sky, and there was no cloud at that very moment above us. As I waited this morning I watched as the two fronts, came to and passed each other, the warm moist air below and the cold air above, racing towards each other.12/24 #6

Blue, how about Christmas, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Winter Soltice, Birth of Jesus, or lack of all belief, believing in your ancestors, numbers, stars or dates....... and why does it have to be PC? Seems most of the world would like to live in peace. Okay everyone have a very Merry Happy Peace Day. and all the above.

2. Made it though going out, and the rain even stopped while I was out, have cleaned the furniture from the muddy dog prints, finished wrapping the presents...now just have to do a couple loads of laundry and then the cooking...going to sit down and relax for a little bit first.

I decided to visit the mall for lunch.
I know, I know... but everyone is so terrified of the crowds, they either skip the mall entirely or immediately queue for parking at the edges of the parking lot. I drove in deeper and parked just across from one of the entrances. Got there early enough that there was no line at the fish taco place, got my food quickly, and sat down to people watch for about half an hour. The mall isn't so bad when you don't have to do any shopping...!

Howdy Christmas Eve for me, folks
Of all things, I hafta get out of my pjs and go help my gracious hosts move their new/gifted Composter into the back yard....sounds easy...until you figure that their backyard is a virtual obstacle course ..of small pines and fruit trees ... and a shed here and there ...in short ....I'm betting they will hafta back out ...and backing out of an obstacle course requires great skill ...and extra folk standing out in the snow up to their ankles...shouting and waving their arms ...."This way" "Stop." That way" "Stop!" (Too late... ) ...
Should be fun!
