I just posted on another thread what Christmas is like in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Love it and I'm not religious but outside of the US "free trade zones", they have retained the spirit with a warm focus on family. No one is left behind and much more inclusive with their celebrations. I think it's my favorite time to go. Hawaiian's are also very inclusive in their celebrations outside of the tourist zones.

I may not be pc in my view that our society would benefit from the influence from latin cultures, who are traditionally focused on family, kids and care for elders. If I got stuck in a nursing home, I'd rather be in Mexico than the US. The US has always benefitted from asorbing immigrants. Both my in-laws immigrated during and after WWII, and all 4 grandparents were immigrants, also not entirely "legal". Norweigen and German. I do think some of the animosity is race based.

We are a nation of many cultures and our tolerance is what's made the US great.

12/24 - 4: TIOA Sns 5 Eps 8 - Angel picked up her head, she had said nothing for two or three minutes. "We have a lot on this ship, and can do and take on a lot of things, but not this. I am not sure what to do. We have been off the shore of the U.S. coast so long, we have even made the national news." He responded "We have all the tactical gear in the world now for everyone, the safest. Since we know who they are,..." She cut him off, but we do not have....

Angel had come to shore on Angel Darlin', she was a much smaller boat: but still classy. A few days to check it out, and to try and calm down. So that is it? Yes. Are you serious? Yes. And they are both in there? Yes, under the building. If one could sneak in when they really did not know we were coming, how easy if another tried now? And who could it possibly be?...... I know.

"Just please keep an eye on that radar." She turned to the one who had questioned her. "Do you understand that a boat like this gains some attention. A vessel that was given safe passage by the government to come close, and knows we are packing. Tends to get some peoples nerves up a bit." In fact Angel had been contacted by the governments of the U.S., England, Germany, Japan and even Egypt; no one would say who the family faced though.

Mac laughed No, you have the best doctors and medicine in all the world here on your boat. If it were not for them..... They spoke for about 45 minutes, when Mac understandably got tired; four bullets will do that. She walked swiftly, but in a way no one noticed. He opened the door. In the Angel Darlin' Tiggs and @Roadtrip635 looked up and smiled. Road lifted a lid and then tiggs. Angels eyes lit up.

It sounds like she had a great week............but he didn't....

I really don't know if Helen enjoyed herself, but Little John had no idea what hit him and it was over so quick he doesn't even know what is now missing. We picked them up and brought them home and the really funny part was watching Cricket and Crissy run to meet the trailer as I backed it up to the pen to unload Helen and Little John. In all the years we've been doing this, I have never seen a more eager and excited greeting committee. I'm sure that by tomorrow, they'll be pushing each other around again, but today they were all very happy at the reunion.

Well Now - Just thought I would pop-in and leave a message at this time of the day and just before I have to get busy making a last minute Christmas Present for tomorrow and having a night full of Netflix . . . AND - I can see everyone is up to the usual, which is nice - especially given that it is probably going to be a very emotional day for a lot of people . . . Just hope everyone get's what they are wishing for and it is all Joyful . . .

I know "Mine' will be, especially since I got exactly what I wanted as a Christmas Present (I bought it for "Myself" just to make sure . . . ) and I will be with a couple of "My" Best Friends once again - for a very special NYC Style "Jewish Christmas" dinner this year . . .

why does it have to be PC? Seems most of the world would like to live in peace.

Honestly, as usual "YOU" are correct - everyone would rather live in Peace & Harmony. AND - It never ever HAS to be PC, especially if "You" are being inclusive of everyone and do not see those words as being as divisive as some others have tried to make them . . . It is what is in the HEART and how "You" truly treat & feel about "Your" fellow Human Beings that really counts . . . Especially - IMO - With a month of Multicultural Holidays that "We" all should all be celebrating as Americans in December - "We" have:

• Ramadan (Muslim)
• Eid al-Fitr (Muslim)
• Saint Nicholas Day (Christian)
• Eid'ul-Adha (Muslim)
• Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Mexican)
• St. Lucia Day (Swedish)
• Hanukkah (Jewish)
• Christmas Day (Christian)
• Three Kings Day/Epiphany (Christian)
• Boxing Day (Australian, Canadian, English, Irish)
• Kwanzaa (African American)
• Omisoka (Japanese)
• Yule (Pagan)
• Saturnalia (Pagan)

AND - With having a more World View and not one that is so "monolithic" . . . That's why I always try to say - Season's Greetings or Happy Holidays to be inclusive of ALL MY FRIENDS . . .

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and probably the unofficial Holiday song of Texas. I think many people can identify with some of the loving but somewhat dysfunctional family members in the song

12/24 - 6: TIOA Sns 5 Eps 9 - @liblue1 enjoyed the winter, there was so much snow. It made her giggle like a little girl. The absolute best vehicles to get around in it safely as well, such a blast. She continued to tell people her beliefs and thoughts and she always received more admirers. New years had just passed, and there were some places she thought might be a blast with some snow there as well..... Uncle?

Blue could not believe it, she had come ashore. Something said go. The experience was enough she went back to the Angel. @jpf880 walked up deck after Blue and continued through to the bridge. Angel was not there, she was back in her private quarters.
It was not a good first five or six minutes to say the least, but he understood; the red of the fingers leaving his face finally. After calming for a minute or two more Angel asked "Is there any good news?" Yes, there is; he answered Anjel did make it into the building.

Blue thought that she used 30 years in those days, perhaps 17 just now. It was not true and she knew it, she was in the boat and she heard and felt it; a shudder. The red lights of the boat lit up and the alarm sounded, she walked quickly and calmly, through the maze, people seeing her come got out of the way. Finally to the bridge, she opens the door; First the back of Angel's head, the flame and smoke, Angel turned around just as stern as ever, but one thing; a tear.

TIOA Sns 5 Eps 10: @Fuzzy Thunderbear was so glad to be standing there, the air was brisk and perfect but warm; the brilliant lightning storm must be moving away from them. The lightning danced in the clouds, hundreds if not thousands of them. No one on the deck but he. urmm like a groan, smack lick a firecracker, the air blew past him and he felt it in his feet. Standing back up he looked around and saw no boat or plane or heard anything, and finally faced back towards the storm when he saw three falling stars, how are they moving under the clouds? Did we just get hit?

@CountBoredom Enjoyed the days and day of Christmas not only with his family, but family and friends. The lights, the decorations, the plays, and events. Just such good times and memories. Walking down the street and smelling that great diner in the winter crisp air. Strange how much we put on ourselves, we can still sit back relax and go good job. The Christmas eats ambrosia. Always likeable and never without friends Count was the best friend you could have had.

@Amlowe go, any direction you want. She looked I think right and took off, fallowed with about 60. JPF turned to the rest and nodded, the goggles were lowered and night vision was given. She and the group moved methodically. No sound, no glitter, wraths leaving through the distance and brush. tiggs looked through his scope. The moon was not full, but it was getting there, thankfully there were clouds moving in.
