Managed to get in to the dentist this afternoon to get the permanent filling done for the tooth that broke last week. 2 hours there with most of it in the chair. Still partly numb from it.

Getting the work done doesn't bother me but don't like going cause that means something is wrong. Hate going in for cleanings - those have been more painful than any other stuff I've had done.

Not me. I can't stand any part of it. I usually have to have a local anesthetic for my cleanings.

Never had any anesthetic for a cleaning but would have been nice a few times. Years ago there was this girl that did the cleanings at one of the base clinics and we'll just say she was well endowed. Even though she was a looker and those things spent a lot of time rubbing up against you nobody wanted to get her for a cleaning. We're pretty sure she was into causing pain.

More heater news. As said before - messed with it yesterday afternoon with no good results. Left it plugged in and a couple hours later turned it on - didn't look good but left it on and about 15 min later it started working (should be putting out heat in just a few minutes) - ran for over 3 1/2 hours before we turned it off. Turned it on this afternoon and it put out heat in a few minutes like it's supposed to. Let it run almost an hour as don't really need it right now - maybe later this evening.

That's good to hear. Weird how stuff sometimes fixes itself, huh? Maybe it will make it through the winter for you.

Good morning treefam. Well turns out we have a couple grand in medical from piggys old job and three weeks to use it or lose it. Going back to the dentist today to see how much I can use up. Not my favorite thing to do for sure, but it's all we can think of on such short notice.
