Here is something to think about.....I heard this week that they are not teaching students (here in WA anyway) cursive writing anymore(reading & writing)....there was a little story about some official who handed her grandson a list & some money to pick up somethings at the store....he replied "Grandma, I can't read this....it's not printed"......she did some investigation and found this information out....so I was wondering if anyone else knows about this....
The worst part I am thinking is that that means they won't be able to read the US CONSTITUTION.....not to mention any letters from you, your parents or your grandparents......
I am really shocked that they think it's alright.....after pondering this for a day or so I see that it really is like a foreign language...but then why not at least teach them to read it....???

They quit here, too. But they're starting back. I guess there was enough fuss raised about it.

It's been a interesting day around Seattle today with the "homeless shooting" indecent last night...the news people are having a hay day with it all.....real "Breaking News".....(2 dead 3 injured).....I love how they don't give details...but try to assure us that it's not because they were "homeless".....while the mayor was giving a speech about the "homeless" problems......
It's all good RR....it was just that it's noticed.....and noted that there are reasons(some different) that some people aren't numbering their posts....

I was very impressed with Heaven Gifts as well. I won a kit on a Thursday and it got delivered by lunch time on Monday. It definitely leaves a positive impression when browsing and considering a purchase.

I agree with the huge contests & the delivery of the winnings, I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth and for the most part have enjoyed those contents even when i did not win, I liked seeing others win, especially the members I know well and members who I know really needed a win.
I too have also won twice from Heaven Gifts, they very quickly shipped the items and with DHL shipping they get here lightning fast 3 days for Me.
I have even already received My prize from a contest that is still in progress!
I will definitely look towards them when I am considering future purchases.

Only 2 hours of my work day left. Woo hoo then its time to go home. Then the real work begins, the honey do list. Oh well at least I will be home with the family. Saw some info in the shipping updates, so the koopor plus may be here today or tomorrow (fingers crossed).

I don't know if they teach it throughout the school district, but they do learn it at my kids' school.

Hi peeps. Sorry not here much. Still taking care of stuff that needs taken care of and then get a call from hubby this noon that Friday morning a guy is going to be in my house and basement updating the internet stuffs. I guess they are going to fiber optic (I am sure that will jack my rates). But I have been sick for a couple of months and stuff kind of slid by instead of getting done. So now am trying to get it all done. Anywho... Hope you are all doing well. Take care of yourselves.
