It was a sunny, and warm, 63 degrees here today!
It was about that, here today. It's supposed to be in the 70's the next couple days.....

I know I am way late for "starting the day" here, but... Well, up at 6 AM, coffee, get dressed and hit the road for monthly grocery and grain shopping. 250 miles later, and home at 4 PM, unload the food stuff for us (critter food can wait 'til tomorrow), then go do chores, then a quicky dinner, now down here in the dungeon.
I know I am way late for "starting the day" here, but... As I understand it, only those who have standing accounts at FedEx got notifications. But rumor on this forum is that they have all been shopped as of today and those of us without tracking will gets ours "in a few days."
I have heard this too (verified by one of my nieces in Washington state) and the claimed reason is that "no one 'writes' anymore - everyone uses smart phones or computers." I say that is total BS and the teachers need to get off their unionized lazy butts and get with the program.

Meanwhile, finished up the review - both the written and the video. Made it to the doctor's office in time to wait 30 minutes *sigh* And, then got told that every test for my gallbladder has been done improperly. Doc thinks I need a serious fast before the ultrasound and want to get my gallbladder and pancreas checked.
Off to bed in a few. Hoping everyone else is sliding on through...

Anyhoo... yup, I found a tick walking on my arm hairs a couple years ago, but it tickled me, so I nabbed that little sucker and popped him before he could figure out which way my skin was. I seem to regularly pull them off my dogs, but they never seem to bore into me. Bugs just don't seem to bother me all that much...

And I thought I was going to bed... That'll teach me to look one last time before logging off.

Still have HR people that can't read and trying to do weird stuff - had to give them another kick in the rear today - I'd rather use a 2x4 upside their head (wouldn't do much good but I'd feel good about it).
