Silver with the sickly orange (and smelly) rubber sleeve! Who comes up with these color choices?

Same package I got. If you don't want that silly orange sleeve, I understand Katz is collecting them to use as shoes or something...

It is big and it is heavy--and maybe it's a residual ache from my illness (I still have some sore muscles I didn't even know I had prior to a few days ago), but after using it for about half an hour, my hand started to hurt (and I don't have small hands). Funny, this morning I was thinking about getting in on a deal for a 60w MVP 3 Pro (I have a soft spot for the device, as the MVP 2.0 was my first mod), but was hesitating because I thought it might be to big and heavy compared to some of the more ergonomic devices that have been coming out lately... My 30w MVP 3 feels svelte next to the Koopor!

So far, I am only using it next to my computer so I can set it down after every puff. No way could I carry it around all day. Here's a comparison of all my mods:

They are arranged by weight, left to right. The three on the left all use 18650 batteries (the Koopor requires two of them) and everything else here is internal proprietary. I don't even use the two on the right anymore, but they are put here as a comparison. Until the Koopor arrived, Thor's Hammer (SXmini) was the heaviest mod I have and it is also restricted to "in the house" use because the few times I took it to the barn or shop, it got dropped because it weighs too much and "slipped out of my grip." The Kooper is almost twice as heavy. My favorite? The iStick30, and here's one of the main reasons why:

That's the iStick30 overlaying the Koopor Plus and at only about 1/10th the weight, it is my "go to" for moving around the farm or driving anywhere. (2nd place? iStick40)

Perhaps you can enlighten me GG... at what wattage and/or what size mod does one acquire the most flavor? I know you were funning here, but I think this is a serious question and I would really like to know where others stand on this. I drew a little picture that, more or less, represents the three known (or named anyway) types of vapers here on ECF.

My typical range is 10-20W, so I am borderline between a die-hard Tootle Puffer and an "entry level" Modwomper. I seriously doubt I will ever go higher in wattage because I am getting my best flavor right where I am. My wife, on the other hand, started at 6W and she's now up in the 40W area, using subOhm tanks. She claims to get tons more flavor up there. I tried taking hits on her mods/tanks and, honestly, I get almost no flavor at all, and any suck longer than 2 seconds gives me a burned throat. No wonder she has to replace her wicks every day. My 10W sucks are 6-10 seconds in duration and my wicks last me a month.

So these questions aren't just for GG: Where are you on that scale? Is it because you get more flavor? Or you just want bigger clouds? Are you happy where you are, or dreaming for bigger/better/whatever? Enquiring minds want to know.

3. Fuzzy, I'm like you and prefer the smaller mods too. My Smok Cube II and IPV 4 sit on the bedside table untouched, while my iStick 30W and 40W, VTC mini, Cloupor Plus Mini, Subox Nano, vPark 30W and Provari P3 seem to get most of my love. I do like my SX Mini but it is a bit on the heavy side so not used as much as the others...I do use my Disrupters a fair deal too, but for out and about, it's always the smallest ones I take with me.

Thanks @angelphyre, and yes, we still can't get over the coincidence! Besides age and sexual preference, we actually have a lot in common.

Just as we sat down for lunch, I received a notification that my pdib arrived, 2 days early! I'd been checking the tracking all morning and the expected delivery date was still Monday. It was so hard not to get up and leave the restaurant.

4. Robin, I know you're gonna love that pdib...I bet it's even more gorgeous in person! I've always wanted one of those, but I didn't want to get on that years long waiting list. They are beautiful though! Enjoy!

I have found that I enjoy vaping around 40-50 watts on a kanthal build. the few builds that I've attempted, that's where I aim for. With that being said, I haven't really built anything above .75 ohms, and I tend to say anywhere from .25 to .5 ohms. With the cCell coils, I am happy with them at 35 watts at .9 ohms. It is interesting how differently everyone acquires their best flavor. I think for me, a decent cloud is a huge psychological benefit. I don't need a massive cloud, but I do like a decent one.

Very interesting. As to cloud size, my use of a Nauitilus tank, 1.5-Ohm BVC atty, at 18W with a long deep mouth-only suck, I blow out a cloud the same size as my wife using SubG tank, 0.5-Ohm at 40W. We both claim to be getting maximum flavor at our respective vaping choices.

I am very curious, however, about those who have moved to higher wattages... Where did you start? Was it cig-alike or EVOD? What made you change? Did you try it and find you liked it more? Or did you start right in at the high end and just stay there? I know both Count and Shawn are also on the high end, yet several others started low and stayed there. I just gotta acquire more data...

I started around Thanksgiving in 2014 with two of the Aspire CF-VV pens and two Nautilus Mini tanks. I went about six months and went back to cigarettes. Then Thanksgiving 2015 I decided to get them out again and they just weren't working at all for me. When I went back to cigarettes I went from Camel Lights to Marlboro Smooths, full flavor very bold menthol. So I wasn't getting a satisfying hit from those pens. I went and got an iJust 2 kit, but didn't care for it. A couple days later I got the iStick TC60W and started out in TC mode at around 40-45 watts max. Then I went from TC with the Melo 2 to kanthal in the Smok TFV4. I used the triple coil it came with for a bit, even 60 watts with it was barely enough to get the coils going. So I started building a few coils. Since I had already been vaping around that range, that's where I chose to stay. Now I've gotten to where I like the warm vape it provides. I don't think I'll ever vape much above that, unless I'm using some of those TFV4 coils that don't even warm up until really high wattage. I still want a dual 18650, just for battery life mainly.

5. Fuzzy, I started out with Egos vaping around 5W...now I vape with the gear I mentioned before, but my vaping is all over the place. On my provari, I use an Aerotank at around 9-10W and it's perfect for the juice I have in that tank. On my others, I tend to use mostly subtank minis and run those in the 22-25W range. I run my TFV4s around 30-40W depending on the juice I have in them. I do have a lot of subohm tanks I use daily, but I also use the Aerotank and the GS-M Airs in tootle puff mode every day too. I get great flavor from both kinds of setups, but find that it really is dependent on the juice I put in each. That's why I have certain setups dedicated to certain juices.
