Finally got enough things, somewhat organized and a little time so that dinner wasn't sammichs or microwave. I actually cooked some food - had mixed veggies, taters and chicken - no leftovers.

Hey, Mac, what did you do with your significant other? Still in Okinawa? Coming here after you get everything set up? No fat guys in G-strings hugging each other on TV here....

Me attempting to show scale of some of these ancient Indian dwellings. These last three pics were at a place called Montezuma's Well, a cauldron with a spring-fed pond and all the little "houses" were created on the inside rim, facing the water. At the left of this pic, you can barely see the edge of a sign that warns you to stay out of the cave that goes down right next to me because there is a naturally occurring poison gas seeping up in there (kinda like what the Greek mystics/Oracles used to go into trance, which might mean this dwelling was where their shaman resided).

3. Yes it does suck when our little furry friends are sick...poor baby just looks at us with those sad little eyes and you can just tell he doesn't feel well at all. But he is still getting up and going outside for potty, so that's a good thing. We'll keep an eye on him tonight and then call the vet back in the morning and see if he wants us to bring him in.

Going to call it a night...I'm sore all over because I got the bright idea when I got home from work to try out the weedeater to make sure the battery still works and ended up doing almost all of the front yard. Now I remember why I make my son do that...because my hands can't handle holding it in the on position for that long and my shoulders and back are killing me too...I won't be doing that again!

2. Well my day certainly got away from me. Was barely at work before a client came in unexpectedly needing some stuff done, then the boss called and wanted to take me out to lunch to celebrate my 5 year anniversary of working for her. Had a very nice lunch and then we went for a (unnecessary to me anyway) training on our new online Electronic Court system, which I've been using for over 2 years now, but they just started using it in the county where I work and so my boss decided we should go to the training. Oh well, at least it got me out of the office for the rest of the afternoon and I didn't have to do a darn thing.

Pretty easy day over all, at least until I got home, that was when I found one of my precious little furbabies very lethargic, so unlike his normal bouncy self. We think he ate a lizard and it made him sick. The vet said to keep an eye on him for now and bring him in if he gets worse, but so far he's just mostly laying around. If he's not improved by morning, I'll take him in then. Even the other dogs are worried about him. His momma and his brother are both laying with him and you can tell they are wondering what's up with him.

Just finished catching up and now I'm reeeaaaly craving some hot, fresh, donuts and some chocolate milk... Yummy!
Got a couple more things to do and then I'm heading out to work.

She stayed - no plans to come here. I'll go back for my vacations and then permanent in 2 or 3 years.

Good morning everyone. How is everybody on random drug test day? lol. Already got 1 cup of coffee in and getting ready for number 2. Had to get up a little earlier than normal today. Weird how a half hour can throw you off so bad.

Any of those donuts and chocolate milk still floating around? Maybe the sugar/caffeine/nicotine combo will give me a nice jolt.

1. Thanks for all the good wishes. Furbaby is still a bit under the weather, but he is showing a bit more energy today. Vet has advised for us to keep eye on him and if he doesn't show improvement by later today to bring him in, but he's pretty sure it will pass on it's own. Little baby was curled up with his brother this morning, but he did wag his little stump at me (has no tail), and went outside with the others, so hoping that it passes soon.
