Don't forget to keep an eye on that river, Robin! Be safe.
There's lots of flooding again this year.....you would think they should have learned by now about having more trees around.....
Be safe everyone..........
Yes & congrats RT....

Well, the doc just called about Kiara. Surgery took twice as long as expected, but she says the dawg will be OK. Twice as long? Guess that means they're gonna charge twice as much... Oh well... Guess I'm just destined to be in debt forever, but at least I get my dawg back.

I spent the last couple days cleaning all my tanks, got them all recoiled and wicked. Kinda nice, like they're all brand new.
I love it when I have time to do that......I seem to have so many going again that I am not sure how long it's been since I cleaned them.....I used to have a routine(every Sunday I would rinse & change the coil), but that's all changed since using these different mods...

That's kinda what happened with me. I just kinda got lax or put off washing the tanks out and just do a quick coil change when needed. The timing just kinda lined up that all my tanks were in need of a coil change and just decided to do a thorough cleaning of each one. I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts, don't know when the next time they're all gonna be this shiny at the same time! lol...... :p

Kiara is not only a BIG dog (barely under a hundred pounds), but very hairy. They had to shave her belly and all around her backside. I don't get to go pick her up until Monday. Vet said her uterus was the size of a squash - massive infection (happens a lot to older un-spayed females) - but some of that might have spread and they want to keep her on IV antibiotics for a couple days. I'll put her on probiotics when we get her home and I'll probably remove her stitches myself in about 10 days. At least, for right now, her outlook is to "return to normal."

Yay for Kiara! :toast:

And double yay for flood warnings being rescinded! :toast: :toast: Is that a picture from your porch?
Nah, that's the pedestrian bridge, used to be a vehicle bridge, around the corner from my place. It gets flooded over, so they built a higher one.

This was our back area this morning. Only 25ft.

You can see the NEW bridge in the background. When the water gets to where I was standing to take the picture, it's time to boogie!

Last winter = boogie time!

I need to head off, too. We have our kids' school fundraiser tonight. Another opportunity to drink for the children... and to sign up for more drink for the children events! ;)

Oh, and I suspect we may actually be ending the contest tomorrow (and starting another), so you may all want to get your posts in early....

Good night, Treefam!

1. Sounds like there was a lot going on for the Treefam today.

@rangerrobin - glad to hear there was no flooding and that you are safe.

@Fuzzy Thunderbear - sorry to hear that Kiara had to go through that, but so glad to hear she's going to be ok.

ETA: Oh and @CountBoredom - don't forget to drink a few for me! :D

@jpf880 - continued prayers and good vibes for you and wifey...also for @glassmanoak and @Uncle and everyone else who needs them.

Glad to hear she's on the mend and you'll be able to take her home soon. :)
