3/9 #2 PIF to @fatum
In any case, I am sure ALL animals have a name by which they refer to themselves, and us hoomons think we can apply some other name to them because we don't understand their language enough to call them by their real names. Our five cats are (oldest to youngest): PJ (short for Phantom Jet when he was a kitten, but occasionally was also Precious Jewel and Precocious Jerk), Puma (because she looks like a tiny puma), Twinkie (I have no idea why Lannie named her that), Tigger (because, as a baby, he bounced around just like the cartoon character and he is a tiger-striped tabby), and Xena, Warrior Princess, who I mostly call My Precious. Oddly enough, they all come to us when we call them by those names (and cats aren't supposed to do that, or so I have been told). The house chicken (Chicklet) actually told me her name, which is why I call her Eeep Eeep.
So if her secret name is something only she knows, how'd you know it is Ming Wa? If she told you, then it is no longer a secret..What?? You didn't know cats have secret names that only THEY know?!
