I can only hope the manager remembers that I asked to do it......we shall see.....but just in case I had to get up if they want to come in early.........
so I want that job.......I have no idea how many other things they found to fix (but I am sure it a lot) around the building......

Yes it is.............and I am usually a very patient person.....although lately it's wearing very thin..........I mean 8 AM? Really? I bet he just got here(the maintenance man) and then there are a few other projects to be done that I am sure are more important.....
First it was the pre inspection....then the inspection and now repairs....Geeze.....when does it end?

Hello treefam. Been having some serious pain in my hands lately so have been staying away from the Internet. Hope everyone is doing well. Hugs and prayers to GMO, JP and wife, and all in need.

The appraisal came back yesterday. House is valued at 15,000 below what sellers were asking. When we put in the offer they refused to budge on price. Did not appear to be good for us cause at this point we can't afford to put that much extra into it. Well turns out the agents agreed to lower their commissions, and sellers agreed to drop the price down. I think we are now all set for closing. Supposed to be on the 12th but we are trying to move it to the 8th. Thank you everyone for the good thoughts, we needed them...

Just a quickie before getting down the road to get Wifey to the dentist.

I consider myself quite handy but taking an oven apart? Nice! Hope you were able to enjoy some fresh baked goodness.

I admit the I do not know didley squat about gas ranges, but I figured simple logic should allow me to deduce what was causing the problem. It is so hard to reach in there with all the contortions required and I think I need some new parts. Gotta find the manual now so I can find the part numbers.

Thanksy all. Count no I must have missed fuzzys posts about cream, but I am sending him a pm now. My fingers are puffy and raw from the swelling, not to mention 3-4 fingers hurt like they are broken with just a light touch of anything. Not broke, but actually hurt worse than a break. I have an appointment with my new family doctor on the 7th to get me a new pain management dr., but that will probably be at least a month after to see him/her. I was due for epidural injections last week, so it's going to be a rough next couple months. I can't go back to my awesome pain dr cause he does not accept our new insurance and can't afford 1500-2500 out of pocket. I'm close to being out of pain meds, and know the pain is going to get much worse. I don't think my old pain dr can prescribe me any more cause I had to cancel last weeks visit.

@Slowone2 ...I was really hoping the better climate in FL would ease things up for you ...but each region comes with its own special flavor of delights and devils .i.e. no poison ivy or snakes in Alaska ...but minus 70* ... black bears,grizzlies ...and very very long dark Winters ...and AK still haz nettles that burn on contact.
Pain management haz a long way to go in this country ...it's abominable! you find a solution and some relief.

I love Belgium beer!

After the stress of the house over the past couple days I decided it just the right time for a glass of wine. It's almost 10pm in Russia. Of course not even a half glass and I'm drunk so nothing is going to get done today. Bad news is it don't really help the pain at all. Good news is it's a celebratory glass cause I'm happy.

..I'm wit ya there ,buddy! I hafta hold off the beer and wine until AFTER my work is done for the day .... 1/2 a beer and no more worky-worky .... You need a solution that doesn't rot yer guts/ take over yer life or kill ya ... cuz none of those are acceptable
