Don't feel like cooking tonight... Chinese food it is!
Sorry everyone is having a hard time with there bosses /jobs, reminds me of how blessed I am to finally work for a great company who really truly cares about the employees. It's seems they are hard to come by these days.

I got some vapemail today that required a signature. Of course the DHL driver never bothered to come to the door and just dropped it off at the leasing office. I checked online and noticed that it was dropped off at the office, so I went to pick it up. The manager told me that one of the residents think the DHL driver hit her car, but didn't stop or inform her. She had a dent and the same shade of yellow paint on her car. She was gonna call their local office, but since no one actually witnessed it, don't know what they will do.......

Spent a bunch of time yesterday and a little today looking at houses. Put in for one today. Hope this one works out as I'm tired of looking - getting real tough to find something affordable in a decent area that will come close to fitting my needs.

After my company went out for lunch today, we all got to leave for the rest of the day! I went grocery shopping, changed my bedding and did two loads of laundry.
Now, I'm headed out to meet a couple friends for happy hour and my gf is going to meet up with us later. Two other friends are coming to visit tomorrow!
So if not sooner, I'll catch y'all Sunday. Have a terrific weekend, everyone!

Now, I'm headed out to meet a couple friends for happy hour and my gf is going to meet up with us later. Two other friends are coming to visit tomorrow!

4/01 #2 so its april fools day not playing jokes but crazy stuff at work going on just things going backwards and spell chk not working for upper management when sending out emails.....hmmm so now instead of material bucks we have fifo (firat in first out) f@#k$ wonder who got in trouble for using f word in company wide email....lol
I've been tremendously busy the last couple days... er... weeks... er... yeah, whatever.
Not only have I been getting quite a few broom orders coming in from our online store, but our season just started. Right as it started the owner of the local vape shop that I had been volunteering at - yeah, volunteering - called to say she had fired her last employee and could I come help. So, yeah, working. The farm has been busy, too, and the reviews are starting to get some traction... up to near 300 subscribers on YouTube (I know that's a drop in the bucket, but...), and the blog is getting some real steady views, too, so vendors are starting to send stuff my way.
That's the long-winded way of saying sorry I've not been on here more often, but I ain't gone yet

Small problems compared to others here in the family. Work has been good about it so far, I do have FLMA so nothing they could do anyways but it's nice that they are nice about it. Being a commission only job the person I hurt most not being there is me.

I like your analogies, @fatum . When I was an engineering manager, I never managed by edict, preferring leading by example and group discussion of the problems we all faced. Upper management once told me that I appeared to be trying to work myself out of a job because more and more, it appeared my people didn't need a manager any longer. That made very happy employees - they knew what they needed to do and they did it with no interference from me. I was there not to give orders so they made me look good, but to help each of them succeed in his/her endeavors. At best, I plowed the road so they could get their work done (i.e., took care of the interface details to clear the roadblocks my people faced). The sign I always kept over my desk was:
