4/2 #4
.I love all the stickers that came with it....but I figured everyone would be using them....& I wanted something different.....
I think the stickers are the thing that attracted me to that contest. I wanted the flags and stuff (I used to have a flag from every state or country that I went through on my REAL luggage). If I won, I probably could have handled the mini Luggy, but not the big one. Anyway, I got to thinking about stickers back then and when I received a solicitation from Disney DVD club (why? I got no kids or grandkids. Why would I want to buy Disney cartoon DVDs?)... anyway, there was this sheet of stickers in the envelope (Goofy, Mickey, Pluto, etc.) and I normally just toss that kind of stuff, but out of curiosity, I stuck one of the Goofy stickers on the side on my iStick30 just to see how quickly it came apart. People are spending $5 to $20 to get wrap-around stickers for their mods and I wanted to know how long a plain jane generic sticky would last. Well, I use that
mod for at least two hours every morning and the sticker has been on there over a month already and is still like new. So, now I know, if I ever get silly enough to want to put that kind of thing all over a
mod (bling to the max?), then all I have to do is go to the nearest Michael's (or other art supply store) and get a whole sheet of stickers (Hmmm... wonder if they have dragons?) for a couple bucks instead of spending 10 times that much for one that supposedly was made to fit my mod (but probably doesn't). If I'd get off my lazy ...., I could get out the Dremel tool and engrave a dragon on one of my mods, but you can't change that once it is there - if you get bored with a sticker, change it!
Welcome to ECF
