About Windows 10: I love it. It's true that you have to disable all the MS snooping stuff, but once you've done that, it's a great OS.

An old picture I used to have: a guy is trying to explain to a blind man (represents the new employee) about the various parts of an elephant and the imagination (thinking cloud over his head) of the blind guy shows propellers and hoses and things that have nothing to do with the elephant, but it is surmised that the description of the trunk makes the guy think of the hose, and the ears would be the helicopter blades... I don't know if you can Google or somehow find that cartoon, but it has always been what I have thought of when the doctor of optical physics was trying to tell me about the difference in 850nm fiber versus 1500nm reflection, refractions, etc. without actually showing me the fibers in question and the resultant traces depicted on the test equipment (i.e., involve me; I will understand).Now I still need to find a better pic that goes along with the text, the peeps at the office already see my face more than enough
