@tiggerrts go get em, just because you're an employee doesnt mean a .... can harass and abuse you. Know the rules and present tactfully , get it on record. Have a witness ,something that proves this talk took place .never hesitate to call osha or the bbb, dlr,whatever. if hes breaking the law and you let him that makes you a criminal too.dont let him do that to you just for a check. if you'll let it happen once ,you'll let it happen again. Good luck

Just checking in treefam. Hope all have a great day. @Mandikay yeah I know about slow days at the plant (not where you work though) lol usually not slow for me but when have multi setups or play musical work areas it seems slow for us. Or well when I have stayed up posting all night on here...lol

@Wworrells I work at a cement plant so we are either reeeaaaly busy or reeeaaaly slow.. Lol... It's hit or miss, really just depends on the weather and how good our sales team has been working haha.. Maybe I will have another cup of coffee to help keep my eyes open.. Yawn

Morning all! That game last night.....wow, just wow!!! That was pretty exciting, easily one of the best NCAA championship games I've ever seen. It's up there with the NC State/Houston Championship game.

There are a several of cement plants and quarries around where I grew up, a lot of limestone. When I was a kid we used to hike through the quarries, got chased out from time to time...lol It was a lot of fun, but looking back on it now, it really was kinda dangerous. Between the rock climbing and rattlesnakes, it's a wonder we never got seriously hurt.

@Roadtrip635 Yeah they are definitely not the safest of places.. Whenever outside you have to have on steel toe boots and a hard hat, and of course our company motto is "if its not safe, don't do it"
But I can bet it was fun as a kid climbing up all the rocks

No different than my friends and I running through the empty canyon behind my house. Rattlesnakes were one thing, but, once, we came upon an unexploded WW2-era military shell. After reporting it, we and all the neighbors were evacuated for a night while it was removed.

Wow, that's pretty crazy!
I don't know what my younger self woulda done if I found something like that. It's probably a good thing, I never had to find out...... 
We didn't really know what it was, so we left it. My dad overheard us talking about it when we got back home and asked us to show it to him. Then he called the police. I don't know what would have happened had my Dad not heard about it. It was away from the trails we usually played on, so it might have been forgotten until some unwitting construction worker stumbled on it when the bulldozed the area for a new house.Wow, that's pretty crazy!
