Well, looking at the aftermath from last night's hail storm and it was pretty messy around town. The hailstones ranged anywhere from golf ball to baseball sized with a few grapefruit sized around town. There is debris everywhere, there were also a lot of broken windows at cars, homes, businesses, etc. There was a large grocery store that had most of their skylights smashed through, that was kinda nuts.

I remember watching the weather radar last night on the local station and the colors went from dark green, to red, to dark red, to dark purple then to black. Black is a nice color for a mod, but not a good color to see on the weather radar!

Here's a couple pics from my patio. I grabbed a few of the larger hailstones that were close. There were some larger ones, but I wasn't about to venture out from under the cover.....lol

So the big conference call told us a whole lot of nothing. Just empty promises and talk of new things coming, but not what those new things are.

@Roadtrip635 those are some insane hail stones. We get hail here, but i have never seen anything like that.

well 2 hours left until this day is in the books. Can not wait until it is over. Been in a daze most of the day.

Can anyone point me in the direction where i can stick my referral links to competitions? i mean i get a few extra points for every entry via my link BUT everyone else can do the same and the competitions are really good, i get a lot off pinterest, some of them linked to here but in 2 parts like the justfog for example 500 to give away 400 away from ECF and a further 100 ON ecf.

Well I just got out of traffic court.. Finally got everything straightened out they dropped this stupid driving under suspended license ticket since my license was never suspended but... I'm stuck with 274$ in court costs ughhhh

@Mandikay at least you got it sorted out but it isn't right you have to pay court costs IMO. There shouldn't have even been a reason to be in court. Uugh.

I agree I definitely didn't think I was going to have to pay all those court costs especially since it was a mistake in their system that caused the whole thing... But hey at least it's done and over with.

Good morning, everyone. Sounds like a missed a lot last night... glad everyone is safe (especially Tiggs from the angry possum! ).

4/13 - 2: Strange thing is there are no broken windows or missing brick around the house, so I have no clue how it got in, or how to stop it again. The city does not catch animals anymore, then why the taxes?, so I would have to go by my own trap and capture the sucker. Not about to stick my hands anywhere near a possible rabid animal, not sure what to do still.

Mandikay sorry about the court cost but at least your license is good.

@Roadtrip635 glad your safe, and yes all welcome to Texas. The hail can get much much larger, even to grapefruit size and bigger

4/13 - 4: Amazing how you can feel better after eating for the first time in a day.

Too be clear I could say something about work everyday, for the whole last year. I choose to not do so. However the boss' response, going to all the employees and saying what he says is confidential and do not repeat it to any other; in other words do not speak amongst yourselves to figure out the lies and manipulation.

Maybe there is a wildlife rescue group that can help? We have one here that will evict wildlife and seal up entrances for a nominal donation.
