Well, vape mail should be here today. I won a juice draw last week. Ordered some fridge parts, that the wife had been bugging me about, they'll bee in today too. Work after work if all goes according to plan. Gotta figure out a new build in the theorem. Ive got claptons that dont drink juice that fast, almost 15ml a day:eek:, if i build right i can make that last almost a week.

Except when I worked in the service industry, I have always been paid for lunch and still do. :?:

@jpf880 - Have a good day back to work. Hopefully you can get some range time in afterwards. ;)

Tomorrow is my last day of work this week. :sneaky: Happy Hump Day for those it applies to!

Happy birthday @Uncle

Sorry to abandon the treefam for as long as I have. Had some stuff going on I had to get taken care of. I just wasn't in the right state of mind to be around, but all is good now I believe.

Hope everyone has been well while I have been away. I will check in later.

Happy birthday Uncle!!!

Well it's picked up some at work... Thank goodness. I didn't want to have another drawn out day.

Well I get to get a new mod but I don't know what I want.. My fiance really really liked the cuboid so he said if I let him have that I could get something else.. I would have given it to him anyways being that all he has is the drip box and he has done such a good job at quitting smoking :) but heck I'm not going to tell him that now lol.. I'm thinking I just want something small.. I was thinking about the nebox. I've heard it leaks if you leaving standing straight up but other than that I've seen some pretty good reviews, plus I like the convenience and size....but I really really fell in love with dripping and I absolutely adore my dripbox and I was thinking I might want another squank box, my problem is I don't really know how to build... Ughhh I know it's terrible.. So I don't know how that would work with another squanker... Hmmmm.. I just don't know what to do...

Good morning all. :)

@Uncle Happy Birthday!

@Mandikay Building coils isn't terribly hard. Especially if you start with single strand builds. If you have a drill, it's fairly easy to do twisted doubles, tripple, etc and make your own Clapton wire if you want. It can turn into a hobby of its own! There are threads here and tons of YouTube videos. Or you can buy coils on eBay if you want one the really crazy builds and don't want to do just a few.

It's nice being able to put a new coil and / or wick in whenever you want. :)

Have a good morning all! And a donut!

@SLM I really have been wanting to do my own coils lately, especially since I go through coils like crazy!! It's becoming quite expensive.. I have to change both my Nano tanks And my toptank mini at least once a week but sometimes I have to change them every 2-3 days just depends on what flavors I've been vaping... I've noticed on my dripbox that I have to change the coil a lot less!! I have been watching alot of videos, I have just been too scared to actually try it lol... It really doesn't look too hard I just don't wanna mess anything up. I guess eventually I will just have to break down and try it!
Guess I better get back to work.. Only 4 more hours to go :)

@Mandikay Or just cleaning the coil and rewicking when you change flavour is nice! Really all you need to get started is Kanthal wire, something to wrap it around, cotton wick and some cutters.

You can add to that as you go with ceramic tweezers, nice flush cutters... Whatever. But you don't have to have them to start.

The Toptank comes with the RBA deck, yes? If so, it's a fairly easy deck to build on. I have... several, LOL!

I'm no expert but if you have any questions feel free to PM me and I'll do my best to help.

@SLM yes the toptank does come with a RBA deck. I watched a couple of videos on building on that one and it really doesn't seem to to hard, I am thinking of ordering the coil master tool kit, wire and cotton and just having a go at it... I'll never know if I can do it if I don't try.. Thanks for your help.. I think you have encouraged me to go ahead and order it :)

You can do it @Mandikay . I was rebuilding after my first week vaping. If you can change a diaper you can make your own coils. Get the coil master kit. Its worth the 40$. I dont use that particular one, but its cheaper and easier than what i did.

Thanks @ThaFuzz! I think I'm going to go for it. Does anyone know what gauge wire for the kanger sub tank mini and the drip box? I think I'm going to go ahead and order everything but I'm not sure about what gauge wire would be needed.. Any suggestions on cotton?

@Mandikay Go for it! It really isn't very hard at all! Stick to simple builds at first... single wire is good, easy to work with and even if it doesn't come out perfectly you can "tune" on it and make it work and you'll learn along the way.

I'd suggest for your first few basically try and duplicate the factory coils. They aren't fancy and vape pretty well actually. IMO, order 100 feet of wire. 26 gauge is pretty close to the factory size. And maybe 28 while you're at it. Yea, you'll probably throw a few away. Wire isn't very expensive at LV and you can't have too much, LOL.

It's a nice slow day here at work so far, getting a bunch of steps in and getting paid for it. :) Rain is coming though... Oh well, whaddayagonnado?

Trying to wake my daughter for school is like pulling teeth from a lion.
..well...can't say's I blame her ... school felt like 12 years of babysitting to me ... But there was no way my mother would have let me stay in bed neither  my sympathies.
..appreciate how easy you make coil building sound @SLM ...I have yet to wrap my first .... I think I'll be starting a new day job soon ... and wire and cotton will be on my "goodies to self" list :)
Another busy day folks ...the sky has gone white ..where did the sun go??!! :-x
