We are starting a new contest (#145) IN THIS SAME THREAD.... NOW!

3.) There can be only SIX numbered entries Each Day. Only a numbered post may win!

Each entry should be numbered AND dated!

4.) There can be NO consecutive posts!!! Except when 15 minutes or more has lapsed. . . In other words- Number, Post, Wait 15 minutes - After 15 Minutes, Number and then Post again.

For something new and different,,,,, while I am convalescing, The Vape Tree - Contest Thread now has a Contest helper, The One And Only,,,, “Uncle”

Each week's CONTEST will still start on Saturday and run until 12 NOON CENTRAL TIME the next Saturday. “Uncle” will update the thread and there will be a new winner selected for each week. “Uncle” will also be assisting me, when needed, in picking someone using Random. Org to select the winner from the post entered for that specific week.

Please start numbering at #1 in this thread

GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!!!
The Home Thread is named:

GLASSMANOAK’s THE VAPE TREE - Discounts, Promotions, Updates, and Home Thread

NEW RULES
Unfortunately, I have to start a very strict set of rules to claim your prize because my communications have become very complex and things are getting lost:
1 Send an email with the subject “WINNER !!”
2. List E-liquid choices (by name}, nicotine strength,
shipping name and address.

3. My email address is thevapetree@gmail.com.

Do NOT send this information via ECF Conversation !!! You can use only the email address !!

I apologize for having to be so strict, but this is the only way I can continue the Contest and even hope to keep my sanity !! Please be patient, you WILL receive your prize! My shipper and I aren't the fasted people in the world!

I am glad to accommodate PIF requests, HOWEVER, The email MUST come from the original winner, not the PIF recipient. The PIF giver will have to do a bit of work!

ENJOY !!!

You can go back and change the number...
done = thanks
Another round of pruning done. Since I would prefer not to kill the tree I am pruning off a little bit each week to lessen the shock. Should take another month of weekly trims. I think the magnolia took off in growth this year because we had a wet winter after years of winter drought. And if it is in my yard it has to survive without summer watering. The Fiskars extension pruner makes the job pretty easy.

Well I think I have all the stuff in my carts......so all that's left is to pay for it...I was still waiting on that one place to have a sale of something besides free shipping on $50.....but I guess not....so I will have to add a few more things to my cart......the good news is that I will have some vapemail to look forward to this week...........the bad news is my bank will be empty for a few days.....

@Zipslack ENJOY!!!
fuzzy - I hope you are able to get your garden planted without further pain or injury.
I do not have high expectations for my container garden experiment.
Even though we have a large garden (about 50'x75'), a great deal of our stuff is grown in containers to keep the ground critters out of them. I use something called lick tubs - ranchers use them by the hundreds per year and there is no deposit on the plastic tub the minerals come in, so a neighbor keeps me well supplied. I drill a few holes around the bottom (so excess water can get out) and fill them with my homemade compost -- mixture of horse poo, cow poo (many farmers are also willing to give that away if you haul) ,chicken poo (careful on the amount because it is very "hot"), old hay and other vegetable matter, aged for a couple years so it has the consistency and "feel" of fine dirt. Then I line them up in the garden so one side is against the lilac hedges so they get full morning sun but afternoon shade. My tomato plants generally grow about six feet tall in that setup. On those plants where rabbits are likely to try to climb in the tub, I have cut hardware cloth (fine wire mesh) to make a complete circle inside the lip of the tub. We always get great yield this way.

Thunderstorms brewing out there for likely afternoon showers, so I gotta get my buns outta here now and go finish topping off the tubs with fresher compost. Later gang...

Welcome to ECF @Buffy knight Check out this neat contest thread where you can win some really good e-liquid just by chatting with the great folks who hang out here (see complete "rules" on page 1). Lots of fun here! Nicest people on the forum and you just might learn a thing or twelve... :)

1. Congrats @Zipslack :thumbs:

Thank you GMO for giving us our lovey little treehome for another week and special thanks to all of our lovely helpers for keeping us straight! :D

Was another busy week for me and wasn't even able to get around to getting on here for the last two days of my workweek...but made it through and am just enjoying my 4 day weekend by trying to do as little as possible...well I did spend yesterday shopping the vape sales, but only because there was stuff the bf wants and also finding rba heads for some of my favorite tanks so I don't have to worry about the coils...was a productive day and pretty much found everything I needed.

Another compost bin almost full. Everything shot up this spring with the winter rains. We will not have true rain again until October but still a some moisture with heavy fog now and then. My front yard went primarily to gravel and some decorative like rocks several years ago - most of my neighbors yards are the same with a few hanging on to grass with sprinkler systems. I cannot imagine their water bill. I have the magnolia tree in front, an asparagus fern, a rosemary bush, some sort of low fir thingy, and a faux something or other (i can never remember what it is). All of it needs to be cut back. And everything survives on natural winter rains only - no summer watering. For brighter color I have a large collection of glass flowers that I make and sell at craft fairs. They are the only flowers I have found that the deer will not eat.
