Looks like it will be a slow day at work today.

I have some stuff to get done today......so I am getting ready to head off...........I got up early just so I could finish early...but I am hungry so I think I will eat first........then I will start...........

Can't believe I started all this barrel stuff, but it's been fun!
Went to Whataburger for my first time for lunch, a lot of firsts for me!
This tree was outside Whataburger and Mom ask me what kind it was, I don't know but I bet someone here does.

That looks like some form of Salvia. We have a bunch of them growing in my neighborhood--but they are usually more of a shrub than a tree (at least here).

Well we got some much-needed rain this morning and now the sun is out to make it miserable. My garden will be happy though

Still overcast and sprinkles here but the lower temp is making all the humidity at least tolerate for now. Decent day at W, going pretty good.

Just took a break and walked to the cliff across the street. The ocean is smooth. No spouts. A few pelicans and 2 surfers with no waves to catch.

So much for barrel races, how about racing barrels?
Did what I needed to on the bike then took it out on the road for a couple miles for a test run - felt good. Now I need to find out what needs to be done to get it registered here and a plate for it.

Careful, @mac63 ... When I first got the bike I referred to earlier, I took it down the road for a test run. Ran into a roadblock...ticket for no tag and no inspection sticker.
How many of ya thought of this earlier today?

Wasn't worried about the cops - kept it in the little housing area here. At the furthest point was only about 1/2 mile from the house. Closed area - one way in/out. Only cop I've seen here so far is my neighbor and he rides.
