7/13 - 2: Well made it back, hit 108 today. House is nice and cool though, leaving the A.C. running, tired of coming home to a house at 94 degrees.
@Mandikay I am so happy to hear you are on the mend. Uhmmm if it is from a dirty needle, well I would think lawyer. Pain, real pain and suffering, hospital bills, loss of income at your job, the added stress just before your wedding. Uh uh. I do not know the details but there is where my thought is.

Got out of work a little late but not too bad. Got home, grilled a little steak and had dinner. Too hot go for a walk so out for a little ride and sitting watching the water. Kinda peaceful.

Yes humans do acid rain, smog, pollute rivers and lakes, oceans and seas, but global warming is fake. However it is close to as hot as hades around here, and we have not even hit August. I know Mac, it is not hot.
The worst we ever had it, and that at least as I have been alive, was around 1992, we did over 30 straight days of 110, and for about ten days of that we stayed over 115, yes the roads do melt.

@Mandikay glad to hear that you went back and that things are starting to improve...still sending positive vibes and healing energy for a quick recovery.
Have been busy the last two days with my little Princess Angel...she kept me on the run the whole time...now I know why having little ones is for the young...but she was a joy to have...and she's definitely my granddaughter, she likes to sleep in like me...she slept until almost 9 today! Here's a pic of my little precious.

Chapter 2: Suspicions rise
It had been a fairly tiring day for all, so they retired for the night to sleep; but as they lay there they kept wondering who? The next morning as they all started to stir, Ranger noticed that there was a new vape mod sitting in a birdcage. The people started to gather around and look at it. Uncle walked up to the crowd, he examined the mod and cage and said "We are on an island, what did you expect?" Uncle smiled and gave a thumbs up, his sarcasm was always welcome.
The people came closer and noticed that there were sets of footprints in the sand, but not whole feet in the sand. Someone had tiptoed with their shoes off, and on the other side there was a trail of popcorn. Some thought it must be Mac, he lived on an island before and knows his way around and has been on a beach many times. Others thought the guilty dog was barking first and looked over at Count, he was eating popcorn.
There was a sound of pain around the corner, and the people rushed to see. It is Katz "Brain freeze" she states while holding up a slurpee. The people stopped and looked. "When did we get a slurpee machine?" asked Blue. "And what happened to the camel?" The group started to talk about the mod when they heard a lot of slurping, they looked over at Tiggs, as he raised his hands to his head. "I like slurpees, owe brain freeze." he said.
Count came around the corner, eating popcorn and enjoying the day. "Where have you been Count for the last few days?" asked a few. "You were the one who go the new shinny aren't you? Your evidence is everywhere." Count could see it in their eyes, two and two, popcorn in his hand, and popcorn on the ground. Count laughed, this is going to be too easy. "I only eat buttered popcorn, that is caramel covered popcorn on the ground, case closed." He said as he walked away with a devilish grin, still eating his popcorn.
"Then it must be Mac, where is he?" thought some, they had not seen him in some time. Shawn walked over to the bird cage and examined the shiny. Looking closer he sees some form of writing, but it seems Greek to him. While no one is looking a red balloon flies through the air.Lunch was good and it helped everyone to relax greatly, but the thought could not get out of their heads.
At that moment Mac showed up on his bike. "Mac where have you been?" asked Bella. "Riding my bike around the island it has been great!" answered Mac. "Can you prove it?" asked Bella. "Why?" asked Mac. "You got that new shinny didn't you, do you have a witness to riding around?" Asked Bell further "Um no" said Mac looking a little concerned. Uncle and ranger came up to the group. Uncle said "You know the rules, but we also do not have a jail yet on the island, so you must be guarded at all time of the day, until this is figured out." Mac listened and looked around. "This does not sound good." thought Mac.
GMO could see the tension in the air and invited everyone over to his place to enjoy the best juice on earth. Angel allowed him to put a big "glassmanoak.com" sign above the door. He let everyone in and allowed them to pick out their favorite flavors and gave them all a small free bottle.

Got a few sprinkles here and a whole bunch of thunder so my dog is laying on top of my feet scared to death. It will probably just be enough rain to make it more miserable tomorrow with the humidity. Well, I'm signing off for tonight. Sweet dreams everybody

The wind has come up and the thunder is booming. Starting to rain pretty good. Could be a rough ½ hour or so looking at the radar.
