So how has everyone's garden fared this summer.
I have 2, count them 2, bell peppers on my plant. They are a little weird looking and not very big. I am waiting to see if the grow any more and start changing colors. The spicy pepper plant did not make it.
There are about 2 dozen cherry tomatoes still growing/ripening and a few flowers that may still fruit. Again, very small production but they are delicious.
So I definitely cannot grow much here unless I do the cool weather crops like lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower.

okay change of plans, can not work without a car, can not sell stuff when it finally gets back to me without one. Can not find one cheaper than the fix. Already made a call, might work tomorrow, might. and then as if Karma was around, a person I helped greatly calls me out of the blue, options opening up....... breath......

Have to go for my follow up eye appointment in a little while...shouldn't be a problem since they just want to make sure these contacts have been fine for me...then off to a couple of stores before it's time to head back to the bf's...seems like I just left there...oh wait, I did on Tuesday!

Not too bad today...back was really sore last night, but a good night's sleep and a hot shower seems to have helped...just know I won't be doing that again!

Evening all, how's everyone doing, reading through the last couple pages I can gather that somebody did awesome in banger race, someone else got ripped off buying a car and some of you are having crap weather which is either not growing your vegetables OR drowning/flooding you!? And what's this going on with GMO being back in hospital?
What is going on with the world? I did wonder what happened to the liquids I won in April I think it was, but I guess that question has already been answered (get well soon GMO

Whats goin on with the law in the US now? It's changed a lot in the last couple months and as I understand they're effectively *BANNING* everything vape related and criminalising vapers!?
I'm assuming that's going to hinder my ability to order E liquids from the good old U S of A? And maybe even stop GMO from sending me the competition winning?
Is there anything that's possible to get this turned around? I know the FDA do whatever the F they like regardless of what you US citizens vote but... seriously banning vaping... Completely!?
In what world does that make sense... (well i guess the world that makes money from tobacco...) Really shows the true goings on of the people that profit and what the people that dictate can do to the real world

Well I made it to the Denham Springs post office and they were closed with a note saying our mail is in Baton Rouge so I drove way out to the Baton Rouge post office and they told me they sent our mail out to be delivered, so when I made it way back out here I checked the mail to find a notice that they tried to deliver but I wasn't home my package will be available for pick up on the 20th back in Baton Rouge... Ughhh. My luck ! [emoji268]

I wouldn't think so.(mine didn't either)...unless because of the weather and people being evacuated they won't leave it in case you aren't going to be there for a few days.......who knows why...............

@liblue1 I didn't think about that, that very well could be it.
Going to pick up supplies for the shelter in a bit. I found a place that's going to donate water, food and dog food for some of the displaced families. Trying to help out where I can since we were blessed not to lose completely everything like so many others did.
