Good Evening Treefam!
Its been a very busy day, Watered the garden, went to visit my mom, took the dog to the vet. and best of all
I just got home from acupuncture... it's been 2 weeks since I had a treatment. Maybe I will sleep tonight for a change. this 2 or 3 hours of sleep just isn't cutting it.
I hope everyone else had a great day. Good night all! Sleep well.

2. I'm so worn out...me and yard work just don't mix...you would think I'd remember that after the last time I got a wild hair and decided to go do some weedeating and was sore for days
...but no, my memory must be faulty, because there I was this evening, with the hedge trimmers this time, whacking down the stuff that's too tough for the weedeater...and why? When I have a perfectly able young man here who can do all that for me
...because I'm stubborn and just wanted to check it out and make sure it still worked...an hour later and sore arms and back and yep the dang thing works!...Son can do the rest though!

Got home from work a little late, had a little to eat and a little walk. For some reason I'm exhausted. Gonna try and get to bed at a decent hour tonight.

Good morning treefam. Sorry I haven't really been around. It's been a busy week. The new girl abandoned her job, so it left just me here. Also, we got the fair this week, so haven't had much down time. I ran the demolition derby Monday night. I was in the 4 cylinder class. Took 1st in my heat and won the feature. Also brought my car back out for the full size king of the hill and took 3rd in it. It was a good night for sure. The trophies were'nt ready in time, so i won't get mine until next week. Here are some before and afters of my car.
The odd looking paint blotches are from my 2 year old. I gave her a brush and let her go at it.

Hope everyone is having a great day.
I'm not sure the up to date news on if I can get out or not because cox cable is still down. Going to go online and check in a few. I would love to make it to the post office and maybe to Baton Rouge to a vape shop. The ones in my town took in alot of water. They posted on their facebook they will be closed until further notice. But my sister said there is one open by her house. And I am dangerously low on juice... Making my nerves bad :/ so I definitely need to get some. I'm concerned I won't make it to the post office because every route I can think of from here to there seemed to be under water as of last night but I will check again in a bit. Maybe things have changed since then. It would be nice to turn on the TV and watch the news.
@DaleH1985 glad you placed so well in the races, and that's really cool that you gave your daughter a brush and let her go at it.. That was a great idea!
@angelphyre I hope you are not to sore today.
@diabolique does the acupuncture help alot. I have fibromyalsia and have been thinking about trying it out.

Just finished my 3rd cup of coffee lol.. Guess I'm going to get dressed and see if I can get to the post office and by my sisters house to get some juice and check on my mom and her house. I'll check back in later. Have a great day everyone

I spoke to Glassmanoak's niece on FB last nite and she said he was still in the hospital but doing good. He did not get caught in the flood.

Glad to hear that gmo is doing well and hope that he is out of the hospital soon and recovering at an amazing speed.
Thanks for the update @jpf880 and a little of my own. The guy who owns me money looks to be shirking, expected it really. What I owe you, how much? Come on man. And the car that I bought that is in the mechanics, no rebuilt motor as I was told, a makeshift hidden mess. Yes they put on at the time a new head gasket, but used the wrong washers, nuts and bolts. So all threading has been destroyed, have to buy a new motor for the car or a car, decisions decisions. NO I can not take it back, or get refunded as far as my research goes. And his solution, to not having my money and sorry, his friends and family did a wack job on the car, you need to go to church. Really, he would not listen any more, going to church will fix the car, or make me income......... good one.
Good morning all, actually already calmed down a lot, remember mental health week, was not going back to anything, going to work, until at least Tuesday of next week, and yes I am good.
Too bad this family can not actually live close together, the world of people out there kinda sucks.
Edit: and nope just found out one of my C.C.'s just lowered my available limit to $100, have to think of another plan. Think I may recall the father in law and thank them for ruining soon any chance for us to walk away with any financial means.......
