6. Tiggs, of course you have to root for your team...and we played horribly...although that seems to be par for the course for us lately...I too can root for another team, as long as they aren't playing mine that is! ;)

Wow, actually got all my posts in today...well time to call it a night and go watch some TV...think I better leave the Kindle in another room though, don't need to be up all night reading again!:p G'night Treefam.

You rang? I'm up to 96 mods and 169 atomizers. the latest acquisitions included a smok TFV8, The tank by Scottua, a Dripbox 160, a Wismec Presa 100, an Ohmega Calypso, a Sigelei 213 and Snow Wolf 218, and a Kepler Apache :)

Wow, just wow! I think I have 10 or 12 mods now and a couple more coming. The latest ones to show were a couple DNA devices, a Triade, a VT200 and a Lavabox and Lavabox M in the blood red. Those haven't even been opened yet. :) There are a couple VT 133's on the way.

I also got I think 10 or so RTA's that you mentioned in another post and a couple Griffin 25's. Been playing with one of those. And not getting it right yet. :-\

It's time for me to get a nap now though. Goodnight Treefam.

GOOD morning treefam. Hey Shawn you say you got a 160 dripbox, what squonker atty have you been using? I tried stock, but couldn't get the density I was going for. I tried the tsunami24,but it seems to leak too easy. So what does the master do?[emoji1] [emoji268] [emoji269] [emoji267]

    Lol

I've got them in a spreadsheet. One section for mods, one for atomizers, one for accessories. Then, I cross-match 'em... what atty is on what mod...

I'm using the stock atty. Lift the coils so that they're in line with the airflow slots...

Also consider getting the Tobeco Velocity... it comes with a squonk pin.

@rbeckys8, you should go back and add a picture of a tree to your posts so that, if one is picked as a winning entry, you can get an extra bottle of juice.

My sister is visiting my daughter in England...she says it's really expensive there and they don't buy much meat...
I have a friend who lives in Europe and comes out here to visit from time to time. He often buys meat at the end of his trip and takes it back with him...

Update on the tree-trimming: I just took a walk down the canyon and saw that a giant pine tree had literally snapped in half, with the top portion of the tree falling into the road, so I guess the work is excusable.

8/21 - 1: Good morning all, been up for a while, but you see why. Hey Phil, not obsession Shawn does reviews, and to do that you have to keep getting some of the new to show which is the best.
    :tumble:
TIOA Sns9 eps 24: The woman speaking to the group, got up into the seat to take the reins of the horses, there was a spot beside her, and she asked. "Is there anyone who would like to ride up front with me?" The group looked around themselves and finally Katz said "I would like to ride up front, if it is okay with you all?" No one objected, and Katz got up front the lady, she said. "Hi my name is Katz, what is yours?" The lady turned smiling and said. "Theresa, thank you." She looked back to make sure everyone was in and seated.

Uncle came to the back so he could rest on two sides of the buggy, Mandi sat at the very rear, she wanted to see as much as she could. Blue also was at the rear across from Mandi, Angel beside her and then Anjel. Count sat between Mandi and Uncle. Theresa started the horses moving, and the clip clop of their hooves could be heard on the brick road, it reminded some of the Clydesdale commercials. The horses were very proud and well taken care of, all they had seen so far, had shown that all the animals were very well taken care of.

As the buggy started to move forward, Uncle spoke up. "Angel, that was a bit bumpy of a ride, perhaps we should consider getting flares on the jet, in case something like that happens again." Angel turned her head as he talked and looked at him until he finished, and replied. "Yes, I believe you are correct, and that is a good idea." Anjel was not sightseeing, she was in thought, but heard them and said. "You may want to get a fighter jet as well."

Angel turned to Anjel and asked. "Do you think we really need one?" Anjel with a stern looked replied. "Well, it would have been nice to have an escort, even if it is just one. What if we need it sometime in the future. Here we are a quarter of the world away from the island, what if something happened there?" Angel said "That seems like a bit much Anjel," Anjel cut her off quickly and said. "Right, we did not save Uncle from Isis, and you were not almost assassinated, and we are going right back to the same place. Or did the pirate ship not fire on the island, your right the world is sane and safe."

Angel listened and as she heard the words, images flashed through her head as she was reminded of the dangers they had already faced. She thought for a minute and said. "Okay, I will look into it, but if that is the case, I think we would need two?" Count listened the whole time and asked. "Can we afford this?" Angel looked up at him and said. "Well with the investments we have, we have turned our spending income above 30 billion, we have more in assets. We should be able to pull this off. Okay enough please, can we just go see Darlin?"

The others said no more, which was their agreement to let it go at the time. The next level they crossed through, had yet more buildings and bridges. There were animals still being raised, but fewer. On one side a great field of wheat was being raised, the other corn could be seen standing tall and healthy. There were large trees by the road, near the buildings, strategically placed to provide shade for people and animals alike. Mandi looked on and wondered how it was so, and a bee flew by her face, it shocked her and she swept it away from her face. "They have bees." she thought "That means they also have honey. Fresh honey." Mandi liked that idea.

The buggy kept moving forward, and into the next section, there was hardly a raised livestock. There were horses and mules, to help tend to the land. It was already cultivated well, but the animals helped with the heavy lifting. The fields looked different, green beans, cauliflower, bell peppers, all manner of vegetables at this level. Katz sitting up front spoke loud enough that all could hear, though she was just speaking. She said. "This is fairly impressive, you have terraced everything down." Theresa responded. "Yes, with the fresh water up top it flows down by a specific design, some water flows above where you can see it, the rest of the fresh water is piped below, to aid in its direction to help the plants and animals as best we can. We even have an olive grove, just to the left over there. The radius in the wall does not let you see them, but it is a very large olive grove."

The buggy continued forward, the clopping of the hooves no longer really heard by the passengers as they looked on, each time they passed a section the wall got just a little taller. Finally a little glimmer flashed over to them, bright enough to blind for a moment. It caught their attention and everyone but Theresa looked over, there on top of a building was a very well placed set of solar panels. Their attention was elsewhere and they did not notice it, until the sunlight and their position made it obvious.

Katz asked another question as she turned her head back forward. "So, what do you do with... well you know waste, as in excrement." Theresa replied. "We know that hygiene is very important, what we the people do, it in a whole different section of piping below ground, it also diverts all throughout the city, in every direction. We use this as fertilizer for the plants that we raise, natural fertilizer. We also take the dung from the animals and use it as a natural fertilizer above ground. It has worked out very well, artificial fertilizers destroy the land in time, killing of the natural bacteria, worms, and things that help to turn the soil, the worms help to destroy old, and in return give food back to the soil, that in turn also feeds the plants. A fairly good echo system we think."

Finished up season 5 of GOT. It's going to be a long wait for season 6
    Any Netflix recommendations?
    I liked Stranger Things.
I can recommend River for those who haven't seen it and like mysteries.

guess I should go some day.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my visits to England - yes it is expensive to the US pocketbook.
But we do speak similar languages except in Yorkshire.

Good morning. I'm sort of awake. Need coffee, or a nap. So glad I'm off today. :)

I was thinking about making a list of mods and tanks so I could keep track and not order doubles by accident. Sounds like a good little project for a rainy evening.

    Catch ya soon.

8/21 - 2: Guess this makes it a mid afternoon check in.
    :tumble:
TIOA Sns9 eps 25: Katz and the rest listened closely, and then Katz wondered something asked Theresa "The people that were displaced, annexed, what has happened to them, or what is the plan?" Theresa continued to watch the road when she replied. "They all were brought into the city, allowed to tour it just like you are and will do. We allowed them to understand most of what takes place here, showed them how we grow. The education system, we have religious buildings for those who are so inclined. Of all the people who came here and looked at what we have, only 13 have so far left, the rest are staying or still deciding."

Katz then asked. "Of those who chose to leave, will they be compensated?" Theresa said. "Darlin has guaranteed them, to pay them in gold three times the amount of everything they lost, houses, land, animals. When they are picked up and relocated, it will be delivered to them. And for any child that they may have, she has promised to compensate them more." Katz said. "So you do have a currency?" Theresa said. "Not really, we do have funds, and money as you want to think about it. Here compensation comes in the form of your work, the way we see it, if you do not eat you die. If you do not eat, you do not have the strength to do anything, so farmers are at the top of the hierarchy if you will. Funny enough, in your world lawyers are paid well, here it is a less than desirable position."

"Of all the people you took in, you have the space and food for them?" asked Katz. Theresa responded. "We have continued to build farms, and houses, there is more than enough room for them, they can choose to be in the same position they were in their previous lives, or pick a new one. We also take education very seriously here, though we do not use money, there is a monitory value to any work done, or items received, credits are given if needed. A normal garden that could feed two people in the year, through the terracing and continues water allows the same garden to feed eight, we show people how to grown their own in their homes, herbs and spices."

"So you do take food very seriously here?" asked Katz. "Of course, like I said without food, what else can you do?" The buggy continued to move as the conversation continued as well. They had passed through the fifth section and there were more buildings, lodges, cabins, the types of structures varied, in shape and size. "Then all you do is work? There is no entertainment, do you ever retire?" Theresa responded again. "No we have entertainment as well, we know of all the same card games as you do, solitaire, spades, dominoes, chess, board games. We do have some TV's in the common areas, we find that children have to get outside to go watch the TV, if it is outside their home. We have enjoyed watching the American football games, baseball, basketball, things like that."

"Wait you say that you have been able to watch these things already?" asked Katz surprised. "Of course, just because you can finally see us today, does not mean we were not getting ready to come here. Darlin has tried hard to make sure that any need is met, that the balance between work and rest is good. Of course Darlin coming from your time, knew of a lot of these things, playgrounds, monkey bars, climbing trees. Everyone can leave the castle at will and go out into the country side. There is plenty of game out there as well, dear, quail, pheasant; if you wish you can hunt them, but not for show, but for food, venison is good." replied Theresa

"It does not make sense to me how it works." said Katz. Theresa said. "Don't worry about that yet, you just got here, you have had not time, to really see our city, how it functions. In time, depending on how long you stay and what you want to learn, you can see later how it works better." The buggy passed through and into the sixth section, here is was almost nothing but buildings, taller, more apartment type feeling, there were still gardens by the buildings, the vegetables varied greatly, no doubt the choice of the occupants and their favorites. The group noticed that from the first wall to the second, the space between must have been about a quarter mile apart, the further they went in the further the walls got apart from each other, allowing more space.

The buggy continued to move, and finally went under the last great wall, each section was no less than 15 feet thick, strong stones placed on top of each other with no mortar, gravity did its job. "Well here we are, coming into the main area." Theresa said as they came just into the other side. "I am to stop here and let you off, you are to walk the rest of the way." Katz looked down the road, she knew where they were, she saw the building she, Anjel and Count had stayed in. "I am pretty sure I can take them from here." Katz stated, Theresa looked over at her with a smile and said. "We figured that you could." with a wink. "Okay everyone, time to get off, Katz says she can lead you the rest of the way, I hope you all have a great day."

The group got out of the buggy, and looked, here the buildings were much taller, nine and ten story's tall in some places, but long, narrow alleys. All were made of rock, smaller but rock, and some in brick. It must have rained at some point during their travels, as the ground was wet, giving a gloss to the brick road. Katz got down and went around the other side, she stuck out her hand. "Thank you Theresa." She knelt down and took Katz hand and said with a smile. "It was wonderful meeting you and seeing you all, I hope to speak to you again Katz. We should see each other at the grand ball."

Katz looked and saw that the others were out and almost ready, just waiting for her to start walking, Katz began down the street, the others followed. It did not take long to pass the businessman's house they had lived in. Memories came back into her mind, the nights, the troops just outside their door. She thought about it so much, that she barely noticed she had made it to the road to turn right. Katz came back from her thought, and looked and turned right up the road, the slight incline recognizable, from the distance you could hear talking and laughter, and there were trees already visible.

The group followed up the path behind Katz, and the higher they got up the street, the more they could see. There was a very bright white building coming into view, and more trees, the climb was a little strenuous on the calves, the day had come to the hottest part of the day, the sun made them start to sweat. As the group came to the top of the road, what they saw was astonishing. Fruit trees lined the square, apples, pears, peaches, cherry trees, there were regular gardens with roses and flowers, very nice color combinations, as well as more vegetables', a large strawberry patch was to the right.

The trees were spaced out, and did not impede travel, green grass throughout and a crisscross of the brick road, went to the spring in the middle and around in a circle as well as converging from one location to another. The group stopped after the came into the main area enough to see, they had passed by the white building on both sides coming in, the construction complete, white building encircled the town center all the way around the circle, those with the sun to their back open and more ornate, those facing the sun had ways to provide more shade and cool to the people.

Laughter and playing caught their attention and they looked over to the spring in the middle, children were sitting at trees, as adults read, some children ran around too young to be in school yet, enjoying the spring in the middle and the pool that it made, it was big enough that the children could get into it and dive just enough under the water to fully submerge and get fully wet. The children chased each other, as adults watched, the group walked closer.

A blonde lady had her back to them and was helping a child with her shoes, helping to tie them. "Thank you." said the small voice as the lady was done helping. "You are most welcome, know go along and play." The child got up fast and went running back to her friends, who were playing tag of some sort. The lady stood up and turned around, she stood 5'11" tall, in her mid to late twenties, her blond hair went just beyond her shoulders, with a lot of body, not so much curly, but bodied. She was very beautiful, her cheekbones very well defined, blue eyes with dark eyebrows. Her skin just a little bronzed from the sun, sleek and elegant she turned and looked at them. She smiled and said "Hello Angel, Katz, Count all of you."

The group walked closer and the lady started to walk towards them, she said "You do not recognize me anymore do you? Your my grandmother Angel." She stopped walking and looked waiting for it to sink in.
