I was going to go to work today but I just don't feel like talking and dealing with people yet so I called off. I get 3 bereavement days so they'll be today ,Wednesday and Thursday.

:tumble:
You deserve it.......I am glad you did....you also need to recover from traveling jetlag...

Morning everyone...the leftover fresh baked apple pie from last night has become today's breakfast:rolleyes:
I know prob not the healthiest at first glance...but having been baked from scratch it can't be too bad.
But man peeling a big pot of those tiny green and yellow apples really sucked!
Glad you made it home JPF....and glad you are taking some time off....work happens everyday...but moments and times in our lives like this warrant some time to reflect...remember....and go easy on ourselves.

Good afternoon Treefam...enjoying a quiet, peaceful (so far) day here...just waiting on my team to play (we're playing your guys @CountBoredom )...wonder how my team is going to screw things up this week.

@jpf880 don't blame you for taking the day off...sometimes, especially in times like this, you just need to take care of you...thoughts and prayers with you as always.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday...good vibes for all those in need.

The peach tree I have, once made so much, I canned about 30 jars of jam. We ate about 20 more, and gave away about 100 more, from one tree . Is supposed to be a miniature peach tree, no taller than three feet, that sucker blew up to five to six feet in the first year. Of course, digging down so the rain, natural water, would pool to it, and dug down even further, about four feet down. I laid tree fertilizer in layers, so the roots would go deep, and down each layer it found more food. This year it must be at least ten feet tall, for a miniature peach tree.
My parents had a "dwarf" orange tree that was like that. Supposed to grow 4-6 feet tall. It ended up about 15 feet tall and produced so many oranges that we were giving them away by the bag.

It just depends on which players show up for either team: the screw-ups or the ones who make you think they really are good. Either way, it should be fun! (Go Bolts!)

Home from playing, relaxing a minute. Then a bit to eat and off ... somewhere. Probably just go walk. I go back to work tomorrow. Not looking forward to it but can't complain too much. Work 4 days and a week off.

Really think I should go somewhere or do something but have no idea where or what anymore.

Likes like an interesting day with good food and relaxing. Hope everyone enjoys!

Yep Count, it should be fun...well interesting at least anyway! ;)....Geaux Saints! :D

We had apple, pear and plum trees in our yard when I was growing up...I can remember sitting in the pear tree and just grabbing them off and eating them. :D

10/2 - 3: Texans got lucky, coach almost cost em....... Okay go Hawks, and I have to say Saints.
My parents also had a dark cherry tree that stands to this day, man it was good and fresh just picked from the tree. I have a pear tree here, usually makes for some goodies.... Guess sleeping not much last night made for a nap already. Come on foggy head wake up...... 60 minutes looks like it will be interesting again.
