Now it's time to get a shower before being on the way.

I do not understand the practice of runnin' credit checks on potential employees.

Good morning all, still doing the four o'clock thing, wonder if I go to bed at midnight if I can stay in bed until six..... the theory is, if you have bad credit, then you are more likely to steal to make more money to "help" your situation. Guess it could be true in some cases. I took a test for a major company here, passed with flying colors, they would not hire me. The theory there, if you did so well, they would not hire you as you would become bored quickly and quit wasting their training time. So for those younger, miss some questions if it is not a federal job, and it will actually improve your chances.

Good morning treefam. Boss is coming today, so this might be my only time on here. As always, coffee in hand and ready to go.
@Uncle hoping all is well. My wife's aunt and uncle and cousins are in Port Orange, FL. Talked to them last night and the winds were picking up. Prayers for anyone stuck in the path of the hurricane.

Stuck on smartphone so just doing a quick check-in, Thankfully I was at Freinds in WPB - strom went by here and no massive damage & electric stayed on so we had ac . . . (Insert very joyful smiley) . . . Propably go back to apartment in FTL when get the all clear from neighbor . . . Hope everyone else is alright and doing well . . . I'll check back later . . .

Mornin folks..
Trying to get back into a workable routine, so I'v been up for just a bit..
Looks to be another fine Fall day here ...
I think it's time to fire up the furnace pilot light, tho.. wearing a sweatshirt with the hoodie pulled up this morn...
Forgot to cover peppers,...cept for some shriveled frost nipped leaves, the "fruit" is doing well...
I'll hafta send pics

Dozed a bit but didn't really sleep.
Picking up my friend in a bit then we're off to take the ferry to Sausalito, have lunch and hopefully catch the Blue Angels show on the way back.

SLM, You might be surprised what you can nab last minute on the right site ....and if you're not particular..Ireland and Scotland are nice too. (gotcher passport?!
)..and with a week off...enough time to travel by car to London (there are ferries that run between the UK and Ireland) ..or the Belgium route..but be prepared..I heard there are 4 hr waits to get thru security at the London Heathrow airport ...well...we can dream
