@DaleH1985 Positive thoughts and energy sent! A very good friend of mine struggles with depression and anxiety. She has finally found a combination of medicine that helps her tremendously. It sounds cliché but don't give up, don't give in. There is help.

@liblue1 That made me laugh. We got another couple inches here early this morning. One would think, being in NE Ohio, people would have an idea that snow can be slick. Yea... Some people, not so much, Lol. :-\

Still only 10°F here with a -5 wind chill. Gonna have a little lunch and enjoy the doing nothing a bit more.

@SLM you just keep that snow up there. You haven't seen dumb drivers unless you have been to West Virginia. I swear the people here think 4 wheel drive means it won't spin or slide. Hey maybe while you are busy keeping that snow up there, you could turn the heat up outside as well. This 12 degrees with negative wind chills is a little too cold for my liking.

@DaleH1985 I hear ya! Same people here! And I used to get to WV quite a bit. My uncle had 110 acres and access to thousands more just below Morgantown. Stone wood / Nutters Fort area

Just got off the phone with my mom's doctor's office. We find ourselves in limbo: my mother was prescribed a pain medication for her back when she left the hospital and the Skilled Nursing facility was diligent in providing it to her when she was there. However, when my mom was discharged, Skilled Nursing assumed that the Assisted Living facility's pharmacy would be able to carry out the standing prescribed medications. However, since the pain medication is a narcotic (a mild one, but still classified as such), they need a hard copy of a prescription in order to fill it. The original order came from the hospital (not her Primary Care Physician), and, because my mother has been officially discharged from Skilled Nursing, the physician there cannot write a new prescription for her. So my mom has been in pain while we all try to sort this out. It appears, however, that there is a light at the end of the tunnel as I think the PCP has been sufficiently apprised of the situation (and she understood the use of the medication when my mom saw her last week). I'm hoping the situation will be resolved by the end of the day. Other than that, things seem to be progressing.

Now, my wife and kids and I just need to go out and get a Christmas tree before it starts raining....

Still cold here - suppose to warm up a bit so maybe this white stuff will disappear before more shows up this weekend.

Weird to not talk about depression, wonder how warm your house is. Or how comfy the desk is. Sure your will see your wife and children again. Dale speaks of hardship as well as Count and others; what have you lost but time? So how was my day? Go back to the underground and move those 4 4" pipes in 20 degree weather. Fingers and toes freezing, told wrong and had to move them again, to top it off. Let me see if I can get this right in wording. Down in the ditch, just like so many builders and supers who have no clue, but are just a name. Never mind their new Harley, or new mustang, or new lexus or whatever; surly do not look at my new king ford, or the four houses I have. Broke, broke, broke..... as I sit freezing in the ditch because the architect is a dumb and the builder or super is a dumb I look up just in time to see him jump down on me. He did not want to hurt his ingrown toenail, so just in time I look up to see this rather heavy man jumping down on me....... Oh so sorry for the nail, never asked about my ailing back or ribs.
Better make this official........ I am betting many of your lives are better than mine...... LOL I had to go as he came down full force, can not be rude to the super who talks to the money. Our taxes pay you...........\

I think what mac was suggesting is that we try to raise our spirits rather than dwell on our problems--not to make light of any of our individual struggles. Sending out positive vibes and good energy to @DaleH1985 and @tiggerrts - hang in there...I know it's rough now, but better times are coming...we all have our ups and downs, and sometimes the best you can do is just hang on tight and ride it out...(((HUGS))) for you.

Had a good time at our Christmas party today and even got a little Christmas bonus...wasn't expecting that as I've only been there for 3 weeks...that was nice of them to do that.

Time to call it a night...good vibes and well wishes to all who need them.

Good morning everyone
@Dale1985 I totally understand what you are going through as for the last few years I have been going through the same, I'm finally on a combo of meds that has me somewhat normal, at least to a degree where I can handle it...that and a good support system has really helped, with that being said feel free to pm me anytime at all if you just want to talk about it.

I was going to complain about how cold it is here... Because to me 39 is reeeeeaaaly cold.. But I feel silly after reading yalls temps lol.
