I made it to work a little while ago and my car thermometer said 38 degrees...bur literally that was freezing to me, I don't know how you all do it with weather in the teens and lower.. Wow I just can't even imagine! I'm assuming our trip to Oklahoma in January is going to be out of this world cold to me and my family considering we are used to southern Louisiana weather.. Hmmmmmm I might have to borrow a thick jacket and warm clothes for me and the girls..considering my sister got a bunch of stuff for her New York trip I guess we can borrow from her. Cold weather doesn't bother David too much, he lived in Connecticut for a while when he was younger and he works out in this cold all day and it doesn't bother him one bit.
Anyways guess I should start working lol.. Have a great one everybody [emoji319]

Mandi, I'm with you...39 feels like freezing to me too...of course I'm in the same general area and we just aren't used to anything in the 30s or lower.

@Mandikay it's definitely not fun on these really cold mornings. I walked outside to 6 degrees with wind chills well below zero. Then the truck wouldn't start, so i had to steal the battery from the wife's van to get the truck running. By the time i left, my chest was hurting and burning from breathing in that cold air. But on the bright side, I made it to work. Now it's time for some coffee.

12/16 - 1: Morning all, and yes glad it is Friday and let the W day end fast. We hit 71 today, wish I could stay and open the windows and doors all day. Saturday and Sunday not so nice 5 degrees and 12 with....... ugh snow. Hope it does not snow.

Don't get me wrong I love snow, but drivers have learned not how to drive and that is without snow and ice.

Good morning Treefam..........yes it's been below 32 several days now....today is no exception....it's 33 now and the low tonight will be 25.......but I got heated seats now so I don't mind going out anymore.....lol....but inside it's chilly.....I got layers on....

Up to 8°F here now. Got down to 4 overnight. @tiggerrts That's a huge temperature swing! It's supposed to 25 degrees warmer tomorrow here than today but daymn man! That's crazy!

Hey @CountBoredom send some nice sunny weather my way. I'm freezing here.

I didn't say it was sunny--a storm moved in last night, and has been giving us about an inch of rain (that's a lot when we usually only get 12-15 inches a year) and dropped the high temperature into the low 60's (brrr!).

12/16 - 2: Yes slm that is a big temp swing and gets a lot of people sick around here. With the front moving in the wind sat at 40-50 MPH constant all day long and still is. Funny driving around and seeing what some were doing.
1. Two young lads trying to lay felt on a roof, the felt was winning....
2. Painting, either dirt and sand will get in your work, or the paint particles will go a long way onto a lot of cars.
And the winner 3. Watching a young man, probably 22, using a leaf blower.... Um one the wind will do that very well today, and two you will never finish as there was a swirl there and leaves were blowing right back into where he was blowing .

Tiggs, there's apparently no shortage of idiots out there...have one in my own office, and I'm not even giving her the excuse of being a teenager for being so dumb...I shake my head on a daily basis at her antics. Today's dumb move was that we sent her to deliver payroll to a client who needed it right away, and what does she decide to do instead? Go run errands for her mom, on our time and dime! When the client called and she still wasn't there I had to text her and she was like oh, I'll be there before 5, I had to do some things for my mom...this was 2 hours after she had left!
