TIOA Sns9 eps 31: Darlin sat with Misty and her eyes finally started to close, she fell asleep. Darlin got up softly and walked back towards Angel who was near and said softly. "Do you want to stay here for a little longer, or do you want to go to your room?" Angel moved back towards the balcony and said back "I think you need to talk to Count."
Darlin came close and asked. "Okay, why do I need to talk to Count?" Angel turned and responded. "He came to save you." "Yes, I saw him with you." Darlin made it to the stone balcony, her face calm but questioning Angel. Angel said "Yes you saw him the one time that he disappeared in front of you, but he came again." Darlin moved a little closer and said. "Again, why did I not see him?" Angel put her left hand on Darlin's right arm. "He was wanted, there were signs out for him to be captured and he had to hide." Darlin looked concerned and responded. "Who did this?" "We are not sure." Angel said back.
The door opened, it creaked a little and the smell of smoke filled the room. There was a lot of laughter, a stolen TV in the back, the sounds of billiards being played. The large man went forward
through the crowd and no one was paying attention to him, he walked and saw the table he needed to go to. "Hey Doom." he sat down his hair brown and short, not washed in a few days and greasy. "Blade." said Doom back as he took the cup and sipped on it, the cup just under half. "Would you like something?" asked Doom as Blade took the chair out and sat down at the table, he shook his head yes.
Doom called out. "Trixy, another one!" The black haired and dark skinned woman behind the bar looked at Doom and shook her head yes, she grabbed a glass and filled it; she then went over to the table and waited a moment as Doom pointed to Blade, and she set the cup down. "Is this on your tab Doom?" she asked and Doom took another sip and said "Yes, and keep it coming." Trixy nodded and smiled as she went back behind the bar, Doom was watching her.
"You called for me." said Blade to Doom as he took a sip and set the glass back down. "Yes I did, you have a job." Blade looked at Doom, he sat and had some paperwork beside him, brown hair but to the shoulders, a clean face shaven and a small
beard. "What is the job?" asked Blade, and Doom moved forward and said back.
"The king is ready to get out, and we have plans." Blade shifted and took another sip. "The king is ready to get out? When and how is he to get out?" Doom moved an envelope over to Blade, he said back. "You do not need to know that, you have somewhere to go." Blade picked up the envelope and looked inside, there was some money and a note. "What is this?" He asked and started to take out the contents.
"Those are your orders, you are to leave." Doom took another sip, the smoke in the room was relieved a little as the door opened and a few left. Blade moved across the table closer to Doom and said. "What are you going to do, Darlin is still here?" he said it under tone and took another sip of his drink. "Do not worry about Darlin." responded Doom, he sat back and smiled with an evil grin. Blade moved back and looked at him with concern. "You can handle Darlin?" he took the glass and sipped slowly, the thought of Darlin made him worry.
"There are ways to take care of her, and think of this." Doom moved his chest and hands over the table, and looked Blade in the eyes. "The king is not happy sitting in jail for 200 years; what kind of justice is that? He is ready to be set free. We are going to take back the throne, and do not think we have forgotten about that peacock of a guy." "Oh, you mean Count; we found out his name and they are back with Darlin, her family and Angel."
Doom took down the last of his glass and raised it up, Trixy saw it and started to make another. "Count if that is his name has already been paid for, his days are numbered. We have some things going on to take care of the rest of the family." Trixy came over her large bosom in a low cut shirt fell down as she smiled down at him. "Here you go Doom."
Blade waited for Trixy to leave. "You are going to get the king out and take the throne?" asked Blade. Doom took another sip and said back, he rubbed the small
beard on his chin, dark skinned he started to laugh. "Sorry, but this is too good. You are going to leave, the paperwork in there is of a family that has been..... um .... moved. Darlin is going to pay you for the land you lost and house and the whole family being displaced. The king has more money than Angel, and." Doom looked around the room and came closer. "Think of this." he said very low. "Darlin is able to change the weather and make things."
"Okay, so she moves things." said Blade, "and you think she will not set anyone on fire or take them out" Doom took another sip and responded. "She makes things, if.... no when we take her over, we can make her make all the gold and silver in the world. Take your envelope and go, Darlin has already paid for the family that is gone. You will meet up with a pilot to take you to America; there you will find another and be on your way."
Blade looked at him and said back. "You want me to go alone?" Doom took another sip and laughed slightly, he said back. "You will not be alone. Have you ever heard of mercenaries? And of those who left are others ready to work." Blade was about half way done with his drink and asked."Others?" Doom sat back and said with a grin "That is on a need to know basis, and right now; you do not need to know." Blade understood and drank the rest of his glass down, he took the envelope and placed it inside his coat; he got up and went back out the door. The cooler air came in the room again and let a lot of the smoke out.
Trixy came back over to the table and while picking up the glass, she let her shirt down. "So do you want to have some fun again tonight?" Doom looked at her and grinned, Trixy walked away smiling she knew what that meant.
I miss those days.. So Dang it for one day out of the year I can pretend
