@STEELRAIN please feel free to share whatever you need...we all vent here from time to time and like others said, we are one big Treefam here...you'll always find support here.

Time for me to call it a night...supposed to only be a half day tomorrow and then off for 3 days...hoping nothing comes up to make it a longer day.

What all the other Treefam members have said you can vent here anytime....I have had some experience with someone who had slow onset MS and it was hard on her...I was her caregiver for over 11 years and watched her go downhill the last few years....it can be really hard at times but take advantage of the good days ( I can't stress that enough).....you never know how many you will have(or when they will come) but if you make good memories with those days it makes up for all the bad days...for both you and your family.....I am so sorry for you being saddled with this and being so "young" with young children......
You can come here anytime you are feeling bad (or even kinda yucky) and we will do our best to help you feel better.....the shell is filled with positive energy that can be used to help healing both emotional & physically....you are welcome to help yourself when you are in need anytime....or if you are having a good day you can add to it...
I also have a half day tomorrow.........but I'm working all weekend.....so I am going to call it a night..........
Good night Treefam.........

Good morning tree fam :) thanks for the good vibes because I slept quite well last night. Thank goodness because I really needed it.
Well today is the last day of this extremely crazy, busy work week. Not that I will be slow next week but at least I won't be working more than one job :/
This weekend the kids won't be here so David and I have a plan to get the spare bedroom cleaned out.. In hopes that eventually his kids mother will let the boys come stay with us every now and then. We are leaving to go see them on January 20th and I don't think I've ever seen my husband so excited :)

Tiggs I wish I could write stories as beautifully as you do. I just don't think I have the imagination for it. When I was a kid I used to write alot, I won several creative writing contests..even the state wide spot for fictional short story when I was in 6th grade. But for some reason it just doesn't come to me like it used too.

@STEELRAIN welcome :) and don't ever feel bad about venting. We are a family and that is what families are for. Trust me, I have been known to vent quite often.. It helps me keep my sanity lol.

Well gotta head out in a few. Have a great day everyone :)

@Mandikay, I know all about custodial issues. been fighting for over two years for my son. spent over $10k to have my lawyer screw me in the end. I hope that things go well on the 20th and that tides change in your favor.

Thanks @STEELRAIN yeah the custody thing has been rough for my husband and I both, he hasn't been able to see his boys in 6 years.. And my hubby is very family oriented so it's been eating him up on the inside. But now their mom and the guy she was married to (who didn't want David to see his kids) split up and she is with someone else, so she finally is going to let us see them. But she's not doing so good herself, so in all honesty we would love to be able to bring the boys back with us. But we have to play it by ear for now. My kids on the other hand have a father who doesn't ever want to visit or see them. Our issues are completely opposite but still a struggle for both of us.
I am so sorry you are going through this as well. It's such a hard thing to deal with, and it doesn't only hurt the adults, it's really really hard on the kids :'(
If you don't mind me asking how old is your son?

Good morning, everyone.

I forgot to mention that I had planned to take the FRAD with us to the movie yesterday. However, when I got there, I discovered that he had an appointment with his cardiologist. He hadn't remembered (appointment made 6 months ago and short-term memory issues), but he did remember that he was going to see the movie, so I actually had to talk him out of seeing the movie and keeping his appointment. I mollified him by saying that I will take him another time (as I was sure that my son would want to see the movie again).

@Mandikay he is 3. everyday is a struggle one way or another. But I wouldn't trade any of it. physically I may get weaker but, due to all of the struggles I get emotionally stronger. I'm able to turn my back on superfluous nonsense and focus where it is needed.

12/30 - 1: W day done and thank goodness. I could go on a major rant about this company but think I will pass. Did not feel like getting up and going this morning, and let the phone just go on auto snooze every five minutes, was awake but just wanted to lay there longer and finally had to get up. Have a fun one slm. So Count I have heard mixed reviews is the Star Wars movie good in your opinion?

12/30 - 2: Thank you kindly Mandi, and hopefully after the flood and all the things you are going through, you too will find that art again.
TIOA Sns9 eps 34: The four of them moved all night and through the next day, as the next night was coming upon them Theo started to get much slower, he had asked for food many times but his mother said no. She made it to the river and had them follow her the whole time, she was on the watch the whole time.

Theo's mothers long dirty blonde hair was dirty from not washing and braided, most of it under the coat and she moved slowly along the ridge of the river, she finally spotted a place that she thought was good. "Go there and gather wood for a small fire, do not start it until I get back." She pointed to her sons and the second asked her "Where are you going mother?" she said back. "I am going to go find food, you get over there and find wood in that small cave, do you see it?"

The eldest looked over through the trees and it took him a while and he finally saw it, he said. "Yes mother, I see it." and started over the river hopping along rocks so that he did not get wet. Theo was tired and could hardly listen or comprehend. He was pulled by the coat from the second boy and followed along tired and wanting to eat and sleep.

Theo's older brother Latrell made it across, and went to the small cave, he searched it for any signs of animals, bones or disturbance. There was none and he watched Theo being pulled by Pallab, he started to look around at the trees and branches, there must be fallen branches nearby and looked as the sun was going down. He saw movement and looked as their mother went back almost directly the way they had come and wondered why.

Abby moved back over the tracks and wanted it to look like they went another way, she was going hunting, but kept her senses up, she knew their tracks would be followed.

Latrell was looking for dead and dry branches and spotted a few up out of the snow and went to grab them when he heard. "Theo!" and a splash, Theo tired fell into the freezing water and it woke him quickly, he jumped up from the near freezing water his eyes wide and his clothes wet. Latrell grabbed some of the dead branches quickly with his cold hands and broke them. He then ran to his two brothers. "Theo." he pointed to the cave "go there, take this Pallab." He thrust the dead branches into the second boys arms and followed saying "Take Theo to the cave and hurry, get his clothes off!"

Latrell went back to the tree that had dropped the dead branches, there were plenty to choose from and he took out his sword and hacked hard and fast, he gathered a large amount of twigs and went back leaving much. Theo was shacking in the cave, his heat leaving fast and Latrell looked around and saw some dead dried moss. He took the moss off the side of the cave and laid it on the ground, he then added a few small twigs on top, he quickly went for the flint rocks in his coat pocket.

He struck them together and tried quickly to get it going, the sparks not catching, he could hear Pallab telling Theo to get out of the clothes, and kept his head down working. "Come on, come on." He struck hard, and something came over him and he struck a little slower and faster, a spark hit the moss.

He watched and a little smoke came up, he waited a moment and then after feeling for the breeze moved and blew slow and soft, the smoke built, he blew slow and steady and the smoke turned into a quick small blaze of fire. Latrell took more moss and added it to the small fire, he let it catch and added a few small twigs on top with the others. The little fire started to take and catch the small twigs.

He turned to his brother Pallab and said. "Keep the fire going, do not put it out, add small and slow." And ran back to the tree with his sword, and began to work feverishly at the wood, he took large chunks out and got a good pile in his arms and went back to the cave. Pallab was tending the fire and Theo was close, he was shivering and the fire was not big enough. Latrell got close and added a few bigger branches and twigs to the fire, the coals were starting below, he placed them like a teepee above to not quench the fire.

After he made sure the fire would keep going he looked for some rocks and started to place them around the fire, the fire was catching and growing and as he finished the circle, the fire was finally big enough to produce a good head. "Theo, get close to the fire." Theo shivered and got closer and Pallab took off his coat and placed it on him.

12/30 - 3: Well had a little time and a little strength, may be time to go play or something...
TIOA Sns9 eps 35: Abby the boy's mom, moved silently through the woods, she made sure not to break any branches and stayed close to the river. She had the bow in her hands and an arrow, she moved slowly even though her hands were cold, her gloves were not good enough, the tips of the fingers exposed. She moved ever so slowly and looked as the light was going, she stopped to listen and smelled the air, there was nothing new.

She stopped and smelled again, she knew the smell of bear, and seeing the skin on the large men she smelled for it and listened. There was a faint sound in the distance and she listened as it grew just a little louder but soft, she went beside the tree and hide herself.

Abby waited for ten to fifteen minutes and finally she saw movement, the sun going down. A large object and it was moving slow and timid. In time she was able to see the deer come down to the river, it was large and had a large rack on top of its head. She knew this was going to be her best shot at a good meal for her boys and waited. The deer looked up and smelled the air, fortunately for her she was down wind.

The deer ate some of the grass it could see by the river and moved slowly down, it stopped many times, and smelled the air looking around both ways and carefully. Abby waited, she wanted to loose the arrow but waited for a better moment.

The deer finally made it to the water and after looking and smelling once more, put its head down and started to take a drink. Aibhilin moved slowly around the tree and pulled the arrow back in the bow, her left arm rested on the tree, she aimed and waited, and a moment later let the arrow fly. The arrow went through the air almost silent and by the time the deer heard it, it was in the chest and heart of the deer.

The deer feel down and Abby went forward quickly, she took out her small blade and came close and slowed, she watched and the deer did not move, but she knew better. She went forward and plunged the small blade in to make sure that the deer was dead and did not kick and beat her. She then stopped and moment and gave thanks, she took the blade and cut at the big hind leg, she took off the smaller section and tossed it aside.

Abby then moved the heavy body over and did it again and took the other back leg. She then took a rope out of her coat and tied the two parts together and wrapped them around the legs, after she was done she laid it on her back so that the legs were both in front of her, she took the blade one more time and cut quickly below the ribs, she took the muscle she could and got up. She paused a moment and thought how sorry she was to not take all, but was thankful for something. She started forward with more weight on her and turned one more time. "Thank you for giving my boys strength." and went on her way.
