Good morning treefam. I swear i am not fully awake yet. My 2 year old decided she didn't want to sleep last night. She wasn't sick or mean, just didn't want to lay down. So here i sit fighting to keep the eyelids open.

At W here, with coffee. So far so good but only been here an hour.

Morning Treefam.

They do have heated seats, well kind of...they make this thing you can put on the lid and plug it in and when you close the lid it heats up the seat...we had one at my old office and it was wonderful...worked great!

...as I recall from my Alaskan outhouse daze ....styrofoam works pretty good too...as long as a frost doesnt form on the topside of it

First good to see you @KatzWh1skers and nice throne @liblue1 you can write that story @SLM I have two to finish and told you Mandi's story is bookworthy.

But that reminds me of a real story Katz. Out in the country some commercial construction is going on, it is a freezing day, and rules state that for so many employees there must be so many port-o-potties, and well in the cold when you gotta go, you really gotta go. Thing is in this all male environment is one female worker, stood toe to toe, but had to go. Well when your flesh is warm and the seat is frozen, you get stuck. She yelled for some time until she was heard, but they are out in the middle of no where and it is freezing. Solution, though they tried to cover her up and in time she did not even care, take torches and anything that made flame and get as close to one side to heat and then the other, back and forth as the port of pottie does not keep heat, a few hours later she was freed from the grips of the lid. That is something you could tell your grandchildren.

All this toilet talk makes me miss my heated seat even more - YES, I have a heated seat in my house back home. They are very common in Japan - some public facilities even have them.

Stayed below freezing all day here with flurries for most of it. Hasn't stuck yet but if it keeps going tonight it might.

Got out of work a little late, people kept showing up. Got home, had a little to eat and relaxing a bit. Really should start my continuing ed but just not feeling it. Oh well. Maybe later after tea.

Frozen to a porta potty... Uugh! Now that's traumatic!
