My 2nd day of vaping I tried lighting my Blu e-cig. Had the Bic fired up and was "this close" to actually doing it... 8-o That's all I'm willing to admit in public folks.

The other day my wife come back from the store having a fit
"Wife fits" eh? Gee. What are those like I wonder? :D

LoL, I've had my moments as well. Went to fill a clearomizer and didn't remove the bottom but did proceed to fill it anyway. Nice hand full of juice.

This ^^^ a couple of times. Also right after I fill my nautilus I forget to make sure the AFC ring is in the right place. I take a big drag and nothing! "Oops, move the ring, genius"

Just last week I put a glass bottle of juice in my pocket at work. A few minutes later I smelled like bananas. The cap and dropper were still sitting on my desk.

I have also done the installing a coil with the fire button not locked. Nice little white curvy burn. Doesn't really hurt much though. Just looks ugly.

Too many to list really but...

1) About to fill protank and get distracted, next thing, warm liquid sensation.
2) Plugging low battery into the usb charger on the computer, turn computer off for the night, surprised the next day when the battery won't work!
3) Screwing a protank mini back together, crack the tank, smash the thing on the table in anger - blood everywhere! Made of glass didn't you know.
4) Bought a nice new shiny VTR and batteries, all turned up, no charger added to the order, longest 3 days of my life!
5) Bought 300 kanger coils from vendor instead of 3 while drunk using one click payment, luckily they questioned the order and refunded the extra £££.

Has anyone pushed their fire button to change the TV channel? Or vice versa? I cracked up when I saw this thread because just last night I found myself pushing my fire button trying to change channels.... duh.... burned wick and still on the same channel. :D

A large PG spill is another of my boneheaded moves. Now I fill in an 8" cake pan with sides... holds the spills quite nicely.....and you can save the PG!!

We use radios at work.

Amazingly, no one heard me when I replied to them with my K101.

Held up to my head.

Seriously. I even hit the firing button and heard the little fizzle from my tank and was like "Huh... crappy digital radi*... oh. Right." and tried to be as nonchalant as I could putting the mod down.

I can just picture that..... starting to sound like a slapstick comedy!! I'm still chuckling over your first comment....
You've brought some sunshine into a rainy day..... thanks so much. :2cool:

heh, I'm betting you've seen the video of the Italian racer who takes his wife out on the track? What's his name... Patrese, I think it was?

LOL

My brother in law is a Houston cop. He once made the mistake of looking at me while I was driving and saying "I trust your driving" with a straight face. I looked him right in the eye with a big grin on my face and promptly drifted my car around the next corner without looking away from his face.

That was 4 years ago and he hasn't ridden with me since.

:D

I haven't done that, but I did 5-click my tv remote to "unlock" it, back in the ego days.

I've had a few "Oops" moments. My most memorable to date is when I was replacing my coils in my Igo-W. It was only the 3rd time, and I've been learning how to wrap coils. I wrapped both coils and it was the first time I could say to myself "Wow - that looks really good".

I install both coils. Perfectly set off the deck, and now I'm getting excited because I feel I'm really getting the hang of this. Check the ohms and it's sitting right at .6. Again excited cause I know this is going to be an amazing setup. I start to fire coil number 1. Get it nice and squeezed, getting red from the inside out. Start counting the steps in my head "Fire, release, squeeze". Move on to coil number 2 - and the "Oops" moment happens. Instead of "Fire, Release, Squeeze" I did "Fire, Squeeze". A very bright arc, coils melt and break and I sorta tack weld the tweezers to the center post. I had a protected battery, and no damage was done but it was spectacular.

I'm sure we all make mistakes some subtle, some big, and I would say this so far is my big one. I've always been safety minded. I do everything to protect myself with shorts, ohm checking, locking rings, etc... even with that, you can always make a mistake. I still tell my friends about it, sort of a reminder that we are playing with some high amps and learning from a mistake is how it doesn't happen again :)
