Half a tank of Coumarin Pipe later, the self-trimmed O-rings have settled in and tightened a tad more on the Diver, so the tank doesn't slide easily any longer. I really need to tug hard to make the tank slide at all. Perfect! (I'll shut up now)

I took the end cap off the Diver, slid the carto driver into the side of the Diver body with the threads, and then used it to push the Diver body through the bottom cap. It went through with some small amount of force, BUT it also sliced off a thin sliver off the inner circumference of each of the two O-rings. Same with the top cap. They are still intact, just slightly wider inner circumference. And the Diver slides through both caps now. Not sure if it will be leak proof now, but I'll test it out tonight and see.

Seems OK so far, but the tank does slide off the Diver a tad easily - but it doesn't let any liquid out, so the O-rings have a good seal.

One last thing before I go to bed..

When refilling, am I supposed to push the Diver slightly down to cover the hole? If I don't do this it starts to leak from the center pin as soon as I expose the filling holes. Also, I seem to not be able to fill it with a plastic nozzle without making a mess.

As a New Yorker, and a Greek, I may be the single most spoiled sentient creature in this galactic quadrant. As such, I ask: any chance we'll see non-glass tanks for the SnP? Perhaps a Lux brassed tank? With a Greek flag on it?

Not a 'brass' tank, but I'd love a 'Brass Sleeve' to sit over it any day (below)... it'd look so cool on the LUX

not on the diver but comes with a pre coiled wick/ceramic
make sure to clean the diver first

just recoiled my diver so it'll be ready for the SnP when i get home

I have paid a few of these forward as they were to me, these will work on the Kayfun as well. I ordered from here a couple weeks ago and they kick ... for filling the SnP McMaster-Carr
