Appears to be holding now.
Filled it - inverted it, covered the mouth end of the cartomizer and blew through the 510 - leak coming from one of the top filling o-rings.
Replaced the 0-ring - no change.
Liberally lubed the o-ring with vaseline and it's holding vacuum.
Trust level of tank - not very high but...we will give it a chance.
It's vaping okay now - just had to find where the issue was and rig it to fix it. Before - it would have already leaked all over the place - but - not even a gurgle now.
Think it'll be okay - just have to fiddle with it a bit.
I'm not disappointed with it - no matter how good manufacturing tolerances are - there is always one that is "a little loose" or whatnot - and there is nothing that can ever be done about that. It looks great on my Lux - and I can't wait to buy the X. Hasn't shaken my love of their products at all. Through the experience - I can see where there is very strong belief and support of the products - that's important to me - and they continue to have me as a committed customer.

Thanks!!!

Yes, seriously. You'd be surprised how many of us make the most elementary of mistakes, regardless of experience or skill.

If you swapped out the o-rings, and all forms of inserts (cartos, Killer) have the same problem, I'd PM or email perseas.

Thank you for your kindness :)
Because it is weird that incident, I am curious to find out what caused it in the first place.

1.Is the top cover smooth in its interior, or not?

2. The O-rings have to sit nice in their place, and they have to protrude slightly from the surface of the top cap, in order to be compressed and seal the holes, when you turn the cover clockwise.
Did you notice them of being placed deeper than they should ?

If you have any leaking issue again from the filling holes, we shall replace the whole unit and I'd like to return it to us for inspection. We shall pay of course the return shipping.

Gotcha !

My most anticipated mail ever... took 6-months of waiting/stalking Perseas' every post on every forum:)

It didn't take me long to comprehend there is no way to escape from Qorax's stalking ways, no matter if this version is discontinued or the end of the world is near, I had to deliver, so happy vaping my friend :D

The o-ring that was leaking was down a little further than the other one by just a tiny fraction. After lubing it with vaseline it's holding perfectly. It's on my Lux and vaping perfectly.
Totally appreciate your efforts in support and looking forward to the Paps X!

Much like Polydectes who thought Perseus was a nuisance and was sent to bring back the head of of Medusa, you should of sent Qorax to find the head of a GP clone maker also armed with a polished shield. :)

I suggest to tighten the cover a bit more, after refilling to increase further the pressure upon the O-rings.

Just returned from a short vacation and was happy to see my GP order in.

First my initial impressions:

I popped a battery into the Paps 2.5 SS, worked straight of out the box. Everything screws in nicely even without any cleaning (which I intend to do during the weekend). The firing button is truly a charm to activate and could easily be mistaken for a touch-button style unit as many of you have said before. Another plus is that the mod stays upright without firing while the locking ring is effortlessly activated. One thing I would change / simplify is the two-piece screw for eliminating battery rattling and adjusting the attie. I also ordered the Spheroid, but haven’t had a chance to try it out yet.

Now for my main gripe:

The bottom end of the serialized 18350 tube looks like it was partially shaved on a machine and leaves a small opening with the fire button. I attempted to take some phone shots, but I'm not sure if it can be seen clearly.

Some notes:

I ordered the Spheroid in parts (3 total) after reading on the Vapourart site that "The base comes in brushed finish currently", so I went for a polished tube and a brushed bell. The unit I received was all polished. I can live with the polished unit and just get a brushed unit to swap finishes when they become available, but Vapourart may want to change the description if it's wrong.

I mistakenly ordered the polished 2.1 18650 tube and emailed Vapourart almost immediately to see if they could change it to an SS tube, but no one ever replied. Again, no big deal as the tube screws on the Paps 2.5 (it's just a hair slimmer than the top and bottom caps) and it was my wrong-doing in the first place.

PS 1: Does anybody know where I can get some small drip tips for the Spheroid like the ones on the Vapourart site or the Caravela atties?

PS 2: Persea, what would you think about a couple new editions that would swap the colors of the top cap and the locking ring; i.e. a brushed brass finish for the GP Paps SS (or all shiny), and a shiny brass for the lower firing button ring on the GP Paps Lux 2.5? I just did a quick p/shop with the Paps 2.5 SS to show you what I mean - see last picture. I think it spices it up a bit and takes some visual weight off the button section while also making it look more elegant and sophisticated.

Mistsmok,
Understand that the region of Greece is on break and VaporArt website may not reply to emails right away. PM Perseas and he will explain and take care of you. He is checking his iPad regularly even on the beach and will without a doubt respond.
Half of the reason we are such fans of VapourArt is due to the excellent customer service. The other half is the mods are incredible.
Wishing the best bro. :)

I'm impressed you know this. Coming from an Italian family, Roman mythology is very similar to Greek. Although Greek mythology is much older 1500-2000BC. There are many similarities such as Zeus = Jupiter and the Gods represent the earth and the living.
Some say Romans stole the mythology, I say we adopted it. Many Greeks live in Italy and many Italians live in Greece. I have never been to Greece.

My Grandma still throws a certain food in a fire during celebrations see if you know what it is...

No, they're just two quick photoshops I did to share some ideas about a couple fresh finishes for the GP Paps SS /Lux and I did the Spheroid too.

Not to derail any ongoing conversations, but does this Spheroid look like it has a "Lux" tube? God, that is sexy.

If so, will they be available?! GP and the Lux are bringing me around to the "shiny" is okay side of things; I've always been a brushed-finish kind of guy.

Shall we settle on "cloned"? Oh, yes, it's on!

The fascinating thing with the original Group O' Gods was that they kept getting shared around, with possible origins many centuries prior to the Greeks, in multiple disparate geographies. One wonders as to the origin of what is quite obviously some form of religion blueprint.

Thank you for that gift Perseas :)

Damn you got a gift? I had to pay for mine.

Been using my Lux as my daytime vape with a klite since the combination is great for stealth vaping. I just take a good hit and hold it in my lungs until all the vapor is gone. I tend to use my reo more at home when I am with drink and like to exhale clouds. The thing is, I'm constantly having to take the top cap off and adjust the screw pins. It seems that the screws will move from a few hours of firing and I have to either tighten the fatter screw so it touches the 510 connection of the klite, or loosen the small screw so that it makes solid contact with the battery. A few hours later, I have to adjust them again. Should I be screwing on the atty tighter?
