Depends on your taste. I have 2 23mm SnPs and a GP SS. Personally, I can appreciate both devices; however, my OCD can tell the very small difference between the 22mm SS and the 23mm SnP. Thus, the SnP will mount the GP X when it gets released for that flush mount.

The SnP-23 looks just fine on Paps SS or Lux. But obviously it feels better on the "X".

Digital correctly opined... it depends on how you look at it and what you choose / what you have.

Yes, I have 23mm SnP and Paps SS and Paps X. Have not yet mated them as I'm waiting for my diver to be built soon. My Paps X currently has Ithaka on it and they look great together.

edit: I see QORAX put up photos already ...

Thanks guys. I would of course like the SnP and the mod to match perfectly ;) but the X is a bit too much for my current budget.. so I was thinking about PAPS instead. It looks like SnP will have to sit on a shelf until I can get the X. At least it found the right home :)

I can totally recommend the paps SS, be warned it's like an addiction. I started with 2.5 SS setup. now it's also got-flat top cap, 18500 blasted,18500 lux, 18500 SS, 18650 polished tubes, just a switch then I got two! But still want lux button kit, 18650 blasted tube and then probably another kick 2. I thought this was supposed to be cheaper than analogues:blink:
I have a 22mm SnP (thankyou vapist.net) waiting in my post office for the night  so will post some photos with it on as soon as it is built. I just couldn't resist it, hopefully with the killer in it will be a kayfun contender!

I have picked up a killer clone from https://www.vapor-freak.de/Neu-im-Sortiment/Killer only €15, thanks to Perseas for killing my budget for a real one!
Anyone tried one of these? I intend to pick up a proper killer if I like this one.

9ball-totally agree satin is the way forward! I think it's best finish of all IMHO and the others from Perseas are outstanding!

I have a Killer705 that I've yet to build. Just received my NR wire for it, but I have some time since the X release was pushed back. The Killer will be planted in one of the 23mm SnPs, and the 23 on the X.

I have to calm down for a few lol. I scored another KF3.1, polished w/ mega tank & spares, for the Lux. Now every mod has a topper.

Anyways, once I nail down the NR/R/NR, I will be sure to post back with my results.

Kayfun killer? Eh, i dont know. It's hard for me to imagine a silica base beating a micro/cotton setup.

Question for my GP bros:

I noticed some firing with my GP SS while in the locked position. Any ideas what might have caused that?

Mind you, the switch was upgraded to the Lux switch because of the small issues I was having with the device not firing.

I won't spend time beating this to death as I'm sure it's user related, and I'm not one for negativity in the public eye :D

Only time that's happened to me is when the locking nut worked free. If you don't see a half mil of the button bolt sticking past the nut, it needs to be hand tightened down.

From the side, while testing on a flat surface, does any part stick up past the delrin? If so, it's defective.

Else, check the bottom contact of your battery and make sure it does not stick out past the plastic insulation wrap.

This is def a good answer my often checking your avitar buddy!

Digi - there also is a fine line in tolerance in the mechanics inside the tube. The adjustment of the telescopic screws so the battery is too tight will also cause your issue and you will feel a stiffer not smooth switch throw. It will also cause the button to fire unnecessarily as your switch will protrude the drunken notches(not to be confused with Nachos:)) just enough to fire when set down or in a pocket. This also will solve your issue if Cman's didnt.

Yeah, I had this happen when I popped in one of my Panasonic CGR18650CH's. The wrap on it doesn't cover the bottom at all, it's completely exposed. In my case it was a battery issue.

Bingo! That's what makes my mods fire-up infrequently too. That CGR-CH is one of the best bats money can buy for our mods... but, as landman correctly opined, it has a folly as well. I've since cut a small piece of electricians tape, in a circle pattern, pasted that on all CGR-CHs and all's fine.

There's one more bat which does it too -- the Samsung INR-20R! Another gr8 bat for us, but has a protruding [nipple type] bottom -- thus, the same story, sticks out and nearly touches the -ve post even in locked position. What I did? Screwed-in the Telescopic +ve Post just that bit so that the battery is tad loose in the mod... not flush-fit as we do otherwise... and done deal!
