Finally rewicked my KFL today, so I pulled out the SS. The two look amazing together!
In other news, this morning was rewick/build morning, and I attempted to build the Killer705/SnP combo. No joy, as Q would say. Can't get the Killer past the second o-ring on the bottom cap. I did refer to the vid by Leo. It smoothly passes through the first o-ring, but seems to "lock" before passing through the second. Why yes, lube was applied, and I'm using the red o-rings.
After losing some flesh, I decided to retreat.
I noticed there aren't many tutorials for the Killer; perhaps, I am the only one in the universe that requires web assistance?
So killer is a few days in the SnP now without issue once I got the little bugger in there. I thought this was a clone issue though, i trashed one of the soft o'rings on first attempt. To resolve this I rounded the outer edge with some wet and dry paper, and a couple of minutes later it slid in without too much trouble. Not sure if this would help but it did for me.
I have no issue with the tank intake holes these sit just above the bottom of the tank and mine seems to adjust very nicely now.
The only major issue i had was getting the coils to go on, the pin/tube the ceramics sits on needed a few minutes of wet and dry paper to reduce it diameter slightly and now the ceramics slip on well. I am using the pre-made coils and they are working nicely, no hassle.
The SnP is a treat to look at and use, the filling holes are fantastic and make life very simple.
So, for me, life with the Killer clone and SnP combo is good!
If i can get a photo to come up anything like one of Q's I will get it posted!

I think they sold out, however there were no 2.5 as tubes or any Lux's... Sigh. I think there are spheroid parts though. Get the base tube and bell. Same price and they were still in stock about ten minutes ago.

I didn't realize till I got home, and no mailman scooting up the road.

I went to the bank earlier to get some smack-a-roos out and kept yanking on the door before I saw the big ole sign on that same door that read "Closed on 10-14-2013 for Columbus Day"
